Great, well-maintained property and the host (Kristen) made sure we had everything possible for a fantastic week. We are already planning our next trip to the area and hope to stay here again.
Beautiful house 5 mins from Jackson Gore. Sits immediately on the water so even in winter there are stunning views right outside. Down the street from a country store make it convenient. It is just outside of the heart of town so theres no traffic when leaving the slopes at 4pm. Will be using Kristinâs place every year now that we found this little gem. So much cheaper than Gore Village and so many more amenities! Clean linens. Fully stocked kitchen items made it easy to have dinners at âhomeâ and plenty off firewood to roast marshmallows at night. The perfect home away from home.
We just loved this cottage! Clean and everything we needed at our fingertips. The many outside areas were so great and we loved everything about this spot!
Perfect stay for our family of 4 dog. Our kids, 2 and 4, had fun admiring the lake and going for a short paddle ride. We enjoyed an outdoor fire and were in driving distance to stock up on syrup, cheese, and other treats while admiring fall. The host was great and very quick to respond to any questions we had.
Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at this lakeside cottage. We paddled the lake in the canoe and kayaks and found the home to be a comfortable and relaxing retreat.
Had a relaxing weekend at the lake front house. Home was super clean and had all of the amenities. Deck area was great to watch wildlife! Highly recommend!
Our group up 4 came up to Vermont for a low-key bachelorette party by the lake and the cozy cabin did not disappoint. We had a fantastic weekend exploring the area, canoeing, and hanging out on the deck by the water. Could not have asked for a better spot and a better weekend to celebrate our bride!
This was a well-stocked, relaxing gem. Our stay was so relaxing and we had everything needed for a great time. The owners communicated well & everything was as listed. We would love to come back!

This was our second time staying at the cottage. We loved the upgrades, especially the new bedroom with a view of the lake. Perfect house for mountain biking and swimming. We would highly recommend staying at the Cottage.
Our family enjoyed the cozy cottage. The beds were comfortable, and the kids enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock. We loved watching the beavers swim at dusk. Very close to Okemo ski resort.
The cozy cottage was just as advertised! A great location, comfortable beds, lovely fireplace and very clean. I would definitely rent this beautiful home again.
We had a great time at the lake house! Kids, ages 5 & 9, loved fishing and jumping in the water off the dock. Kayaks & canoe were so nice to have, we loved taking them out on the lake. Enjoying a fire in the fire-pit at night was great to share stories of the days activities. House was clean & set up nicely for 7 of us. We would surely stay again! Thank you!

What great pictures! thank you so much for the review! Hope to have you back again!
Our family of 4 found the Cozy Cottage to be the ideal spot for our ski getaway. With an ideal location, beautiful surroundings, warm and welcoming furnishings and amenities, the Cozy Cottage was just what we were looking for.
We had a wonderful 4 days/nights at Cozy Cottage. Perfectly named, well appointed decor and comfortable beds. Perfect for families. The fire pit, kayaks and conoe along with the string lights and sitting areas to watch the wood ducks and beaver family was the perfect way to decompress from the rat race.
Great house in a perfect location for my family. Host is very good at communicating and enjoyed our ski trip.

Hello! I'm from CT. I'm a wife, a mom to 2 active boys and a nurse. I love spending time with my family, relaxing with a good book by the lake in the summer, skiing in the winter and winding down with a glass of wine by the fire. I've been hosting STR's for about 8 years and its something I truly enjoy. For me, hosting is about creating a comfortable, welcoming space where guests can feel at home, make memories and enjoy the simple pleasure of being away. I love sharing VT with others and hearing about the special experiences guests have made during their stay.
Why they chose this property
One of the things I enjoy most about this home is how it combines convenience with a sense of escape. It's on a main road, which means its easy to find, the main road is well-plowed in the winter, simple to get to no matter the season. At the same time, the house sites on a beautiful lake, so when you're here, it feels peaceful. In the summer I love sipping coffee of the deck while watching my boys fish off the dock and kayakers paddle by or heading out for an early morning hike. In the winter the mountains are just a short dive away for skiing and I look forward to coming back to a cozy fire and making a home cooked meal. Its the mix of being close to everything and still feeling removed from the chaos that makes this place so special to me.
