Bij aankomst kwamen de eigenaren ons het hele huisje laten zien, ze hadden als presentje een heerlijke rode wijn en chocola op de tafel neergezet. Het huisje zelf was perfect. De Open haard zalig, en we mochten naar believen hout pakken. Er zat een nieuwe badkamer en een nieuwe keuken in het huisje. De omgeving was schitterend. Het zwembad was heerlijk en we mochten er ook in de avond gebruik van maken. Kortom echt een aanrader.

Het huisje was op zich erg gezellig, met een leuk terras en tuin met zwembad, maar het was niet proper. Ik had niet de indruk dat het gepoetst was voor wij aankwamen, ik heb bij onze aankomst eerst zelf de keukenkasten en alle servies afgewassen + gestofzuigd... De eigenaars zijn 80+, dus ik begrijp dat het voor hen moeilijk is, maar dan zouden ze toch een poetsvrouw kunnen inschakelen voor er gasten komen. Bovendien wordt er wel € 25 aangerekend voor schoonmaak... Jammer, want het is wel een leuk huisje en toffe locatie.

Het is hier rustig, tussen de bomen en de vogeltjes. Echt relaxen. De kinderen hebben al in het zwembad gezeten ook al is het nog niet echt warm maar ze amuseren zich. Op aanraden van de eigenaar de Abdij van Averbode bezocht, gezellig terras+ goede wandeling ernaartoe tussen de bossen. Ook de VVV toren bezocht waar een groot speelplein is en terrasjes. Het is hier echt wat we zochten, een weekendje herbronnen. Gezellig huisje ook met open haard,ping pong buiten en verschillende plekken om op je gemak te zitten. De eigenaar is heel sympathiek en behulpzaam.

Cons: the house was not sufficenlty clean with dust everywere and bread crumbs on the floor. The garden could have been neater (including some broken toys).

Unsere Navigation hat uns den Weg zu finden, zu früh, und es gab nur Wald, haben folgende Anrufe an unserem Ziel angekommen, wo wir ausgezeichnet erhalten, sehr freundlich und gastfreundlichen Menschen und sehr hilfsbereit mit Informationen über die Region bietet. Das Haus kann sechs Personen unter Berücksichtigung aufnehmen, dass zwei Schwellen auf einem Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer zu gehen. Die Einrichtung ist es, was gedateert aber erfüllt und primären Einrichtungen sind in Ordnung. Es gibt sogar gratis WiFi, Annehmlichkeiten wie Grill, Terrasse und natürlich der Pool sind sehr gut bis ausgezeichnet. Nur Kehrseiten, die sehr enge Einfahrt und harten Matratzen, auch hatten wir bis etwa 0400 ziemlich viel Lärm von der nahe gelegenen Diskothek. Letzteres ist offensichtlich die Vermieter etwas verantwortlich zu machen.
