This property is a SUPERB place to stay in The Cotswolds ! We took day trips each day, to different parts of The Cotswolds and even tho the weather was damp and foggy, had a ball !!
It is located so close to the village centre, to shops and to pubs and it has parking included !!
The information provided by the owners about how to get there, how to park, how to get in and what’s in the village I
is comprehensive, friendly and useful.
LOVED staying there ❤️ ,
Chipping Camden is my new favorite places! It’s a quintessential Cotswold town. Cloud 9 is right behind town, phenomenal location, but it doesn’t have a coffee pot or washer dryer and the kitchen is sparsely furnished. Not the place if you want to settle in, have breakfast at home and run a loaf of laundry. Otherwise, we loved it!
Everything as promised. Clean and comfortable. Graciously appointed property with delightful living area. Wonderful bed and bath. Quiet area yet close to everything. Highly recommend!
If you’re up for a weekend you can’t go wrong with Cloud Nine. Excellent location, all mod cons, tasteful decor. Great comms with owner. Leave the car in the very handy allocated space and walk. Our top tip: follow George Lane and keep going 15mins (pathway) to Broad Campden and the excellent Bakers Arms.
Our stay at Cloud 9 was absolutely perfect! The flat is cozy, well decorated and centrally located. We loved the short walk to so many cute shops and tasty food spots. Of course, we also toured all the famous towns nearby and really enjoyed the view from the Broadway Tower. At the end of the day we slept peacefully in our comfy Cloud 9 beds.

Excellent location, tucked behind the main High Street in Chipping Campden.
The property is spotlessly clean and well- equipped. However, a slight downside is that it’s position on the ground floor and corner of a courtyard means that the interior is quite dark and rather chilly at times. The heating system helped though. Added to that, as a downstairs property, there was frequent noise from people in the upstairs apartment, which was annoying.
We had a wonderful time for 6 nights at Cloud 9. The cottage is adorable, very clean and tastefully decorated - loved it! We loved the front garden to enjoy our morning coffees and evening drinks. Very peaceful and quiet. The car park was also extremely convenient. The location is great as we love the beautiful historic town of Chipping Campden to explore and use as a home base for visiting all the other wonderful surrounding villages and towns. It was a convenient 2 minute walk to High Street where we could buy some groceries and dine at great restaurants and tea houses. Would highly recommend and hope to return one day!

The apartment is lovely and the attention to detail is excellent. Very well equipped and the decor is wonderful. The bathroom has a fantastic shower over a big claw foot bath. You need to take a big step over to get into the bath though with no grab rail so you need to be careful getting in and out if you have a dodgy knee like me. The apartment is perfectly situated exactly 1 minute walk from the Noel Arms pub and the High Street, which has plenty of teashops, cafes, shops, restaurants and pubs. The Noel Arms serves nice food as does the Eight Bells down the road. We also had a lovely lunch in the Bantam Tearooms and an evening meal in Michael's Mediterranean. It's a small restaurant so you need to book. As we have free OAP bus passes we used the local Stagecoach and Pulham buses to get about - Moreton in the Marsh, Stow in the Wold, Bourton on the Water and Broadway. The bus stops are outside the Noel Arms so it was very easy. There's just a couple of things that prevented an 'Excellent' rating. The bed isn't very comfortable as it sinks slightly in the middle which meant we kept waking up when we felt we were tilting into the middle. Also, although it was great to have an allocated parking space it can be very difficult to manoeuvre a large car which we have, if the other 2 allocated spaces have cars parked there. The entrance to the parking area is through a narrow mews entrance into a small gravelled courtyard with a very tight turning circle when other cars are there.

Note there is an apartment above this unit and one beside. It is a self catering unit so you will need to bring everything you need. Some things in the online photos are missing, ie. fireplace, some lounge furniture, patio umbrella and decor, nespreso coffee maker, and shower/bath products. Other items that I read about online before booking, and were not available were an outdoor bbq/grill, a welcome package and king size bed. The bedroom is lovely, but the bed is a north american queen. Twice the hot water did not work, but the host did have it fixed promptly. My biggest complaint relates to cleanliness both in the unit, and the outdoor space which we planned to use. I did complain upon arrival, and the host did offer to have it redone, but I deferred as I did not want to interrupt my holiday by moving my stuff and waiting for cleaners. The host did communicate promptly but when I asked for a refund for the last day due to the above issues, I did not receive a direct yes, or no, nor an admission that these issues had occurred, so we checked out at the appropriate 10am, one day early and lost that payment. Of note, there was another suggestion to have the cleaning folks come in again, which at our 5 days, what would that accomplish? And no response at all regarding our refund. This cottage has so many good qualities, and is in a perfect spot, but it needs a good scrub, somewhere to put your luggage other than the floor, and at least some coffee when you arrive.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are so pleased you enjoyed the location and Cloud Nine and that the hot water was resolved promptly during your stay.
To clarify, all our cottages are self-catering properties, as stated in the listing. We do not provide guests groceries, but we do supply tea, coffee, bath and shower wash (in large refillable bottles for environmental reasons to not use single use plastics), and hand wash for our guests — all of which were available during your stay, though it seems the coffee may not have been noticed in the kitchen cupboards.
The patio umbrella is stored during the autumn and winter months for safety and weather reasons. The bed is a UK king size, which is slightly smaller than a North American king but larger than a queen. The property is clearly listed as a one-bedroom property, it is not advertised as detached.
The property was thoroughly cleaned before your arrival — cleanliness is something we take great pride in. You did mention this upon arrival, and we immediately offered to have the cleaning team return, which would have taken less than ten minutes to address the small items. However, you declined this offer at the time, so unfortunately we were not able to resolve the issue for you directly as you seemed content in enjoying your weeks holiday with us.
We also visited twice during your week-long stay to deliver fresh towels, and no further issues were raised. The outdoor table may naturally collect a few leaves during autumn and we cannot prevent the wind from blowing, which is to be expected at this time of year. We also do not provide BBQ facilities, even during the autumn/winter months.
We always appreciate feedback but would have preferred it if concerns had been raised soon after your arrival so we could have addressed them promptly. We remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all our guests.
Thank you again for staying with us.
Cloud 9 was everything and more! PERFECT location, town is essentially in the backyard with the local pub just steps away (Noel Arms) is also worth a visit! Cozy and beautiful, well done! Kind and informative hostess 💗 can’t wait to return
Although compact, Cloud Nine is a dream. It is as the pictures display, beautifully turned out with space designed to maximum advantage. The location is excellent and it has a parking place (although we did not need one). We suggest booking a taxi to collect you from the Moreton in Marsh train station in advance if that is how you are arriving as transport options are sparse. Some very good restaurants are just around the corner as are various specialty food shops and Markets. Nicci is a wonderful host and is quick to answer any questions or offer suggestions. Just a joyful way to enjoy the Cotswolds!
Deluxe Accommodation in the heart of Chipping Campden
There is nothing that has been missed when designing this accommodation, it is truly five star, everything is of the highest quality and specification it is far superior than staying in a five star hotel. Everything that you would wish for is within the property from the fluffy white towels to the luxurious furnishings, the bed and linens is simply a dream!
The property is as described. It is small and cosy and in a great location close to amenities and yet very peaceful.
Would definitely be going there again.
