The chalet has been fully refurbished during 2023 and is now warm and luxurious throughout. There is work to be completed outside during the Spring of 2024 - sandblasting of the whole chalet to integrate the colour and finish; facing of the steps and walls and planting of hedging/further grass and provision of barriers around edges of the steps/parking. Care is required if parking near the edges, and also by those walking to and from the chalet - but it should not affect your stay. Please ask for further details if you have any concern. A discount has been applied to take account of this last areas that need to be completed.
Do let us know if you want Bedroom 3 made up as a King size (instead of a twin) - but it will still just have 2 single duvets at the time of writing (Jan 24).
Winter tyres and/or snow chains/socks are mandatory in the winter. Do be careful. The drive down to the garage can get slippy. Do ask if you are concerned before your departure, and we can give advice or check the latest situation. After heavy snowfalls, the local farmer will clear the drive, and there is a motorised snow blower in the garage that we can talk you through using if essential (no instructions on site), and there should be salt and varied shovels in the garage - just ask further. Please note that there is an outside security camera to monitor snowfall, but this will be turned off when guests are staying.
