About this property

Vallacchi b&b a Country House in the heart Tuscan, by small family or couple

In a typical Tuscan country house converted into a B&B, entirely renovated by Massimo and Loredana maintaining the historical characteristics of the house, we offer hospitality for your holidays. Vallacchi is located in the center of the Tuscan countryside: you can relax in our large garden and enjoy pleasant evenings, as well as visit the Tuscan cities of art and typical historic villages. A few kilometers away you will find tennis courts, golf, a riding school, various playgrounds for children. At 1.5 km there is Corazzano, a small town where you can find the bank, the post office, a bar, a small grocery store; while at 10 km large supermarkets and all the shops you may need.
Our garden is completely fenced, there is a small playground for children, sun loungers and deck chairs with umbrellas, barbecue, ping pong table. Playing ball or football is not allowed. We have two female black Labradors and 4 cats. We are at your disposal for advice, curiosities, tips for buying typical organic products, indications on what to visit or even just for a chat. The parking is inside the property.

Agriturismo at its best

The time at Loredanas Apartment / Agriturismo was amazing. She and her family were always there if we needed help or a good tip for the environment. The Apartment was super clean and it had everything you would need. The Dogs Mosa and Nina were super sweet and our kids 7 and 10 didn't want to leave :) The Pool was always clean and you can even really swim there. Especially during the hot daytimes the pool was the best you can have :) The horse farm around the corner (SB Performance) was a good tip. We can definitely recommend every bit of this place. It was the best start for our Tuscany trip.

Toskana-Idylle mit Traumpool

Wir waren mit unserem Kleinkind in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Das absolute Highlight war der Pool – perfekt zum Abkühlen und Entspannen. Das Haus liegt eingebettet in die toskanische Landschaft, herrlich ruhig und abgeschieden – ideal für alle, die Erholung und Natur pur suchen. Wer Restaurants oder Geschäfte direkt vor der Tür erwartet, sollte sich dessen bewusst sein – für uns war es genau richtig so!Das Haus selbst ist typisch italienisch: mit viel Charme und sehr sauber. Man merkt, dass hier mit Liebe gepflegt wird. Auch mit Kleinkind hat alles gut funktioniert.Die Lage ist super, um die Toskana zu entdecken – bekannte Städte sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbar, und auch der Strand ist in etwa einer Stunde Fahrt erreichbar.Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt für alle, die Natur, Ruhe und italienisches Flair schätzen!

L'endroit est idéal pour passer des vacances au calme. Ambiance paisible et bucolique au bord de la piscine et dans les jardins. Idéalement situé pour visiter Sienne, Pise et Florence, à condition bien sûr d'avoir une voiture. Très bel accueil de Loredana et Massimo.

Sehr schöne Anlage, ideal für Familien mit Kindern

Schöne Anlage mit tollem Pool und einer sehr freundlichen Gastgeberfamilie. Ideal für kleine Kinder und tierliebe Familien. Es gibt zwei schöne Hunde, Katzen, Hühner, und sogar Esel. Der Pool ist sehr schön und auch wirklich sehr gepfelgt. Die Appartments sind einfach ausgestattet aber sehr funktionabel. Die Lage ist gut, ca. 45min ans Meer und 1.15Std nach Florenz. Supermarkt und sehr gute Restaurants sind in 15min erreichbar.

Wonderful quiet location with cats, dogs, donkeys and chickens living in harmony

Perfect spot to relax with the family

We stayed at Loredana and Massimo's place for a week with our newborn and 2 year old. It was just what we needed. The children really enjoyed the grounds and the animals, and the swimming pool is absolutely amazing. Loredana kindly cooked for us a couple of times at a very reasonable cost - it was some of the best food we had in Italy (and we were there for two months!). Didn't explore much, as were mostly chilling out, but Florence and Pisa were easily reached.

Toscaans verblijf

Er zijn veel verschillende buitenruimtes en een prachtig zwembad. Alles is heeeel erg schoon! Het huis is sfeervol ingericht. Toscaans basic, er is niks meer aanwezig dan nodig, bijvoorbeeld geen schaar. Gekoeld door het huis zelf (mits de ramen goed dicht zijn tussen 9.00-18.00). Er lopen twee honden, kippen en poezen los op het terrein, ook bij je appartement. De eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Wonderful time at Vallacchi

We spent a wonderful week at Loredana and Massimo's home in the Tuscan countryside. The five of us (me, my wife and our three daughters aged 2-7) enjoyed the warm days by the pool, eating outside or visiting the farm animals, and appreciated the coolness of the apartment in the evenings. Loredana made us feel very welcome and our girls loved it.

Gute Zeit an heißen Tagen

An heißen Tagen steht natürlich der gepflegte Pool im Mittelpunkt, aber auch Kinderspiele außerhalb des Wassers haben genug Raum auf der großzügigen und abwechslungsreichen Anlage. Die alten Mauern halten die Unterkunft angenehm kühl. Zum Wandern/Spazieren ist die unmittelbare Umgebung zwar etwas unzugänglich, zum Joggen sind die weitläufigen Feldwege/Pisten wiederum ideal. Man wird sowieso kaum ohne Auto anreisen. Als unser Auto defekt war, haben sich die Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit gezeigt. Überhaupt sind Loredana und Massimo sehr angenehme Menschen und wir hatten eine gute Zeit!

Farm House in Tuscany

Overall loved the quiet off the beaten path Tuscany experience. Loredana and Massimo were very welcoming and helpful. My only criticism was the property was listed as having 2 bathrooms and we only had ONE for 5 adults. Not what I was expecting

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en Toscane. La situation est idéale pour visiter les differents sites touristiques aux alentours. L'endroit est calme , reposant et trés bien entretenu. Country house for families

We spent a week in Tuscany and I could say the house was placed in the perfect zone, less than 1h driving to Pisa, Lucca, Florence or Siena. We were two families with kids and found the house quite comfortable, basic but didn't miss a thing. It is an old country house, very fresh inside. Outside, there are a few friendly farm animals walking around and plenty of joys, a swimming pool which was great for kids, a table-tennis place, a playground for younger kids to be at sight and relaxing areas where to spend hours talking with friends. Probably the road leading to the house which is unpaved in the last 1-2km could bring trouble with lower cars, but it is countryside house.

Beautiful place in the countryside

We were a family of six with small children from three to nine. The pool was perfect with a baby pool inside the big pool. This made our smallest child super happy. The apartment was VERY clean. The gardens were beautiful and our kids loved the animals: donkeys, dog and cats with new born kittens. The place is one hour away from all the major Tuscany cities which was super convenient. The owners living next door were very kind but looked a little bit tired.

A lovely get 'away from it all' countryside stay!

The apartment is part of a secluded house off a rough track about 45 minutes drive from Pisa airport. It is ideally situated for visits to all the main attractions - Florence, Siena and Pisa which can easily be reached by car or by taking the train at Castelfiorentino (cheap parking, regular services, reasonably priced). Lots of lovely smaller villages and towns all within about 45 mins radius of the property. The apartment was spacious and cool. Rooms were simply furnished, but with plenty of towels and linen. Showers worked great, plenty of hot water and good pressure with access to washing machine when needed. No radio or TV so great opportunity to catch up on reading/relaxing. Internet was freely available and although not superfast, was appreciated to keep in touch with family, etc. Cooking was by gas hob or oven only (no microwave, no kettle) but we made some delicious meals using local produce thanks to a good size fridge and freezer for food and drink from the local Coop and PAMS supermarket, or local Montaione market on Friday mornings (all about 10-15 mins drive away). Also found some good resturants in Montaione but none within walking distance - so a car is essential really. Minesi and Massimo are lovely people, friendly, very helpful and informative, funny and willing to help with any request (e.g. borrowing a hair drier, how to light the oven!, etc.) The grounds of the house are gorgeous, lots of seating areas, pool side, under a shady tree or canopy, outside the aparment, always somewhere to sit and relax and we used the table tennis table everyday - as if we hadn't done enough exercise every day with all the sight seeing. A great location from which to explore all aspects of the Tuscan countryside. It's run by lovely, generous hearted people and we would thorough recommend if you are looking to 'escape' and don't mind travelling to explore this lovely part of Tuscany.

Perfect getaway in Tuscany

If you are looking for a quite, nice, welcoming house in a friendly, beautiful environment, and if you would like to depart from it with the feeling that you have not been on holidays but rather visiting some old friends, this house is the right choice. We have to thank Massimo and Loredana for the lovely time we spent there at the beginning of July. Their friendliness and all the attentions they had for me and my family (four children) contributed to make of these holidays in Tuscany a really nice experience. Do not look for luxuries in Villa Vallacchi, the house is simple as it should be, respecting perfectly the atmosphere of an old modest farmhouse. Havind said this, the house has all you need, starting with the thick walls that keep the summer heat away and ending up with the nice swimming pool built in the garden. Green surroundings make the building fit perfectly in this beautiful countryside. A number of interesting visiting places are to be found at not more than one hour ride: Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, San Miniato, Vinci and so on, so the location is almost ideal if Tuscany is your target. Another tip, ask Loredana at least once to cook for you.

Tuscan Heaven

This is a fantastic place to experience the real Tuscany. Loredana and Massimo were wonderful hosts and were very welcoming. It was very hot during our 2 weeks so the large pool was a godsend.The typical Tuscan house was large and cool. The village was a short walk across the fields with a nice little bar and pizzeria. A 10 to 15min drive to the nearest supermarket at Montaione was convenient. We had excursions to Florence, San Gimignano, Certaldo and Castelfiorentino (great market) all with their differing attractions. Many days were spent either at the villa or close to it, exploring the local area. The wildlife was very interesting, especially when coming back at night! If you've never come accross glow worms, wild boar, little owls, deer and porcupines in your back garden, this is the place for you. This was our third visit to Tuscany - this villa was the best of them, and was very reasonably priced compared to many others. Highly recommended! Williams Family, Wales

Hi, we are the Minesi-Leoncini family: Loredana and Massimo, Marta and little Mia, 8 years old.
Vallacchi is the original name of the house that has been ours since 1989. Massimo and Loredana previously lived in the province of Milan. Since 2000 we have received guests after having renovated most of the building. We are convinced of the particularity of Vallacchi above all for its simplicity which allows everyone to surely spend a pleasant stay here in the Tuscan countryside.

What makes this property unique

We want to offer our guests a place where they can experience a moment of balance and harmony with the surrounding nature and its colours, together with us and our animals in a rural setting.
Vallacchi is not a hotel but it is a bed and breakfast country house, in which a family lives. But in this house we heartily invite you.
We will be happy to help you with the choice of typical products, wine, oil, truffles.. Loredana is an excellent cook and will be able to advise you. You find our house between Montaione and S.Miniato, in the Egola valley, in front of the 'thousand years old' Romanesque parish church of 'S.Giovanni a Corazzano' in the heart of Tuscany. The sea, the beach, the Etruscan coast can be reached in about an hour by car and also the famous Cinque Terre in Liguria, Arezzo, Cortona and Pienza can be reached in about an hour and a half by road.
All our lodging are clean and comfortable to spend your holidays in the authentic Tuscan atmosphere, a prerogative that many farmhouses/agritourisms in Tuscany have lost, having been transformed into luxury hotels/hotels.
Since 2008, a photovoltaic system has been in operation in the company which makes us independent for the production of electricity and allows our guests to spend holidays in harmony with nature.
