About this property

VallacchiB&B Tuscany Solution for Holiday tipical country house Family Friendly

In a typical Tuscan country house converted into a B&B, entirely renovated by Massimo and Loredana maintaining the historical characteristics of the house, we offer hospitality for your holidays. Vallacchi is dating back on the first half of century 18th and the farmhouse is located in the center of the Tuscan countryside: you can relax in our large garden and enjoy pleasant evenings, as well as visit the Tuscan cities of art and typical historic villages ( Florence, Chianti Area, Volterra, Vinci, Certaldo, Montaione, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa, San Miniato, Firenze, Siena... ) . A few kilometers away you will find tennis courts, golf, a riding school, various playgrounds for children. At 1.5 km there is Corazzano, a small town where you can find the bank, the post office, a bar, a small grocery store; while at 10 km large supermarkets and all the shops you may need.
Our garden is completely fenced, there is a small playground for children, sun loungers and deck chairs with umbrellas, barbecue, ping pong table. Playing ball or football is not allowed. We have two female black Labradors and 4 cats. We are at your disposal for advice, curiosities, tips for buying typical organic products, indications on what to visit or even just for a chat. The parking is inside the property.

Simple and wonderful

The property sits in a very quiet area off the local roads accessed by a mile or so of gravel track. The owner Loredana, has been hosting for 25 years and has created a very comfortable apartment next door to her family home. The gardens are peaceful, packed with pomegranate, pear, apple and olive. The two dogs, the chickens and cats are friendly without invading your peace and quiet. The pool was great and just what we needed after the day trips. We arrived in the middle of a heatwave with temperatures up to 40 degrees. Despite this and with careful instruction, the old building remained cool enough without air conditioning to get a good night’s sleep. Centrally located we visited Lucca, San Gimignano, Sienna and Vinci. We shopped at the local grocery store in Corazzano and at Lidl in Castelfiorentino. We tended to eat out at lunch time and eat at the apartment at night. The only local meal we had was at Casa Lucullo about 3 miles away; excellent food and the only English family amongst many, many Italian families. We are a family of four; 50-something parents with 21,18 and 15 year old daughters. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend this property for its relaxing nature and central location. Things we didn’t do that are local options are wine tasting very close at hand and cycle hire in Castelfiorentino.

Wir hatten hier einen sehr schönen und entspannten Aufenthalt. Loredana und ihre Familie sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, Hunde, Pool und Garten haben uns große Freude bereitet. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Haus ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die toskanischen Städte, ans Meer oder für Wanderungen. Mückenspray nicht vergessen! Super propriété typique de Toscane. Extra pour les vacances en famille. Les hôtes étaient très accueillant et aux petits soins. Le seul bémol était les chiens des voisins qui aboient beaucoup la nuit ce qui nous a réveillé régulièrement.

Le chemin pour accéder à la maison est un peu chaotique (beaucoup de cailloux). Il faudrait indiquer sur votre annonce que les machines à laver sont payantes. Mise à part ça les enfants se sont éclatés dans la piscine, la maison est très bien située, les propriétaires à l' écoute.

Un bel endroit au calme

Endroit au calme a équidistance de Florence, San Giminiano et Sienne (1 heure de route environ). La piscine est vraiment très bien. Le logement a le mérite de rester frais lorsqu'on ferme bien les fenêtres malgré la canicule ! Loredana, la propriétaire est très gentille et discrète.

Très agréable séjour en Toscane

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine en famille dans cette maison ancienne qui a beaucoup de charme avec un jardin spacieux. Wij hebben met onze familie en heerlijke week gehad bij Loredana en Massimo. Lieve, gastvrije en behulpzame eigenaren. Lekker zwembad. Inrichting woning was basic en er zijn veel dieren op het terrein. Uitstekende uitvalsbasis om Toscane te ontdekken. Er is geen afwasmachine, deze miste wij.

Im Herzen der Toscana

Sehr schön gelegene und gepflegte Liegenschaft mit einem äusserst herzlichen Vermieterehepaar. Das Ferienappartement ist gepflegt und sauber. Wer den wilden Charme der Toscana liebt, findet mit dieser Liegenschaft den richtigen Ausgangspunkt, um die Toscana zu entdecken. Ideal zwischen Pisa, Florenz und Siena gelegen, bietet diese Ferienunterkunft den perfekten Ausgangspunkt, um auch die kleinen Perlen der Toscana zu entdecken (San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Montaione, Vinci, Volterra uvm.) Es gibt auch schöne Wanderungen in der Nähe. Ein toller, ruhiger Ort für Familien um zu entspannen und die Entdeckungen des Tages am gepflegten Pool ausklingen zu lassen. Das Meer ist in 1 1/2h gut zu erreichen. Die vielen Tiere rundherum komplettieren das Bild einer idyllischen Toscana (Katzen, Hunde, Hühner, Esel, Geckos etc). Die beiden Hunde der Vermieterin sind gut erzogen, äusserst zutraulich und äusserst liebenswürdig. Unsere Kinder hatten sehr grosse Freude an den Hunden. Ein grosses Dankeschön an Loredana und ihren Ehemann, Massimo, für die Gsastfreundschaft, die tollen Tipps und die erholsamen Ferien. Auf ein Wiedersehen in der Toscana. J. Redondo

A lovely farmhouse stay

My wife and two kids had a lovely stay with Loredana and Massimo at their farm. It was exactly as expected. The pool was clean and plenty big enough for us. We went swimming in the pool at least twice a day, we are food grown at the farm, our kids fed the chickens and played with the two black labradors, we barbecued and drank good wine, and we explored nearby towns and cities as we pleased. A fantastic rustic Tuscan getaway to unplug.

Wunderschönes rustikales Landhaus mit idyllischem Garten

Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das Landhaus liegt fernab von Stadt und Straßen, somit ist Ruhe garantiert. Umgeben ist es von einem großzügigen Garten mit mediteranem Flair. Gut gelegen zwischen Pisa und Florenz sind beliebte Ausflugsziele gut zu erreichen. Auch das Meer kann man mit einer knappen Stunde Autofahrt besuchen. Wer Tiere liebt ist hier genau richtig. Die zwei freundlichen und kinderlieben Familienhunde haben uns jeden Tag begrüßt, außerdem kann man sich über Katzen, Hühner und Esel freuen. Für Kinder ist der Garten ein Traum. Es gibt viel Platz zum spielen und auch eine Schaukel und Rutsche zum austoben. Der gepflegte Pool ist durch einen Zaun vom Garten abgetrennt. Loredana und Massimo waren zwei sehr nette, ruhige Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und blicken gerne auf die schöne Zeit zurück.

Ein rundum schöner Urlaub

Wir waren Ende Juli und damit in der Hochsaison im Ferienhaus der Familie Minesi zu Gast und haben den Besuch sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Einen Fernseher gibt es nicht, den haben wir allerdings auch nicht vermisst. WLAN ist vorhanden und die Geschwindigkeit ist ausreichend, um die Touren für den nächsten Tag zu planen. Der Ort ist äußerst günstig gelegen, etwa mittig zwischen Florenz und Pisa, wenn man sich die „Hotspots“ der Toskana anschauen möchte. San Gimignano, Siena, Lucca, selbst die Strände von Livorno oder die Insel Elba sind mit einem Tagesausflug gut zu erreichen. Wir haben das gemacht und uns abends bei einem Bad im großen und gepflegten Pool erfrischt. Im äußerst liebevoll gestalteten Garten hält man sich gerne auf und die Kinder haben sich über die zahlreichen Kätzchen, die streichelzahmen Labradore, die Hühner sowie die Esel gefreut. Es gibt außerdem zahlreiche Spielgeräte für die Kinder und im Nebengelass kann man grillen oder Tischtennis spielen. Man kann es also auf dem Anwesen auch ohne Ausflüge gut aushalten und die ländliche Stille sowie die Gastfreundschaft der Minesis genießen. Loredana beherrscht die englische Sprache sehr gut und hat bei uns einen sehr freundlichen und herzlichen Eindruck hinterlassen. Der letzte Kilometer zum Haus der Minesis hat übrigens eher den Charakter eines Feldweges – hier ist es hilfreich, wenn man den tiefergelegten Sportwagen lieber zu Hause lässt. :-)

Emplacement idéal pour visiter la Toscane

Nous avions choisi cette propriété pour son emplacement géographique central pour visiter la Toscane. Florence, Sienne, San Gimignano et Pise sont au maximum à une heure de voiture. Nous partions de bonne heure le matin pour visiter la Toscane et revenions en fin de journée pour profiter de la magnifique piscine et de la table de ping pong avec nos enfants. Loredana et Massimo sont des hôtes d'une grande gentillesse et toujours disponibles pour répondre a nos questions. Les chambres sont très propres et les installations très bien entretenues. Je recommencerai a mes amis cette propriété.

Sehr gemütlich, für Kinder gut geeignet, toller Pool!

Ein uriges altes Haus mit drei Ferienwohnungen. Liebevoll renoviert und günstig. Der riesige Garten mit Tieren und dem super Pool laden zum Verweilen ein. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und stets um Ordnung und Sauberkeit bemüht. Auch die Lage ist gut für Touren zu allen umliegenden Städten und zur Küste als Tagesausflug. Nur die Matratzen waren ziemlich durchgelegen und sollten so langsam mal erneuert werden.

Hi, we are the Minesi-Leoncini family: Loredana and Massimo, Marta and little Mia, 8 years old.
Vallacchi is the original name of the house that has been ours since 1989. Massimo and Loredana previously lived in the province of Milan. Since 2000 we have received guests after having renovated most of the building. We are convinced of the particularity of Vallacchi above all for its simplicity which allows everyone to surely spend a pleasant stay here in the Tuscan countryside.

What makes this property unique

We want to offer our guests a place where they can experience a moment of balance and harmony with the surrounding nature and its colours, together with us and our animals in a rural setting.
Vallacchi is not a hotel but it is a bed and breakfast country house, in which a family lives. But in this house we heartily invite you.
We will be happy to help you with the choice of typical products, wine, oil, truffles.. Loredana is an excellent cook and will be able to advise you. You find our house between Montaione and S.Miniato, in the Egola valley, in front of the 'thousand years old' Romanesque parish church of 'S.Giovanni a Corazzano' in the heart of Tuscany. The sea, the beach, the Etruscan coast can be reached in about an hour by car and also the famous Cinque Terre in Liguria, Arezzo, Cortona and Pienza can be reached in about an hour and a half by road.
All our lodging are clean and comfortable to spend your holidays in the authentic Tuscan atmosphere, a prerogative that many farmhouses/agritourisms in Tuscany have lost, having been transformed into luxury hotels/hotels.
Since 2008, a photovoltaic system has been in operation in the company which makes us independent for the production of electricity and allows our guests to spend holidays in harmony with nature.
