We had a lovely stay here, the location was perfect for getting around South Wales, and we visited Cardiff, Cardiff Bay, Brecon Beacons, and St Fagans Museum - all within easy driving distance. The accommodation itself was perfect for us (four adults), with a large sofa bed and double bed. A very cosy place, with all you'd need for cooking, resting, and relaxing including TV with various streaming services and beautiful outdoor areas for morning cups of tea :)
Great cabin, Nice location, would stay again. Thank you

Thank you for your review! So glad you enjoyed your weekend, sorry you found it difficult to contact us - number is included in the app & I see messages straight away though the booking system - I’ll put a memo in the home for future to make it easier for future guests, thanks for the feedback!
This is ideal for 1-2 people needing a quiet spot. It is tucked away off the Taff trail and east walking to the lovely pubs in the village. Rachael is excellent to work with.
Great access to Taff Trail for cycling and walking.
A cabin in the woods with beautiful trees all around.
Rachael an excellent host.
Great accommodation warm clean and comfortable.

Room was quite small but had all we needed. Very clean, fresh paint well kept. Outside traditional, lovely old style building. Bus stop right around the corner. Locals very pleasant. Owner operator looked grouchy but was a joy to visit with.
Lovely spot right on the taff trail. The accommodation was really nice. We had clear communication which made it a stress free arrival. Waiting for us was wine and Welsh cakes which were a really lovely touch. The dog loved walking straight out of the gate and into the woods.
Literally booked this the day before we arrived, found it easily enough, completely off the beaten track, lovely and quiet, really lovely little place, ample big enough for a family, plenty to do in the area. 20 mins or so from Caerphilly and Cardiff, plenty of places to eat or shop, just had a really nice time. Cut short by some issues at home but we'll definitely be back for longer next time. Thanks for accomodating us.
Im Theater sahen wir die "The Chicago Blues Brothers" und "Thank you for the music".
Enjoyed our stay in this comfortable well appointed cabin in the woods. Property was as advertised and spacious for 2 people.. We used the sofa bed as well as the double and found them both comfortable. . TV via Firestick was fine for us. There is a decent level of kitchen equipment and we were very happy to find the heating was set at a comfortable level and provided a cosy environment .. We loved the woodland location and being near the Taffs Trail. - not so busy in November .
If it rains the sound is quite loud on the metal roof but that was not a problem for us.
Rachael was easy to deal with and prompt with responses. We were very grateful for her detailed directions to the property which we found with ease. We definitely hope to return.
This was a quirky but lovely place to stay for a weekend in Wales. Well equipped, quaint arty features everywhere you look, strangely remote but also sort of busy with walkers, joggers and cyclists passing on the Taff Trail! All in all a lovely feel, hard to describe, would definitely recommend this property. While you're there Castle Coch is must see.
Perfect place for us to stay when we needed somewhere easily accessible to Cardiff.
Didn’t get to spend much time in the accommodation but all seemed as described, and it was only a short walk to the train station
The property was great. Exactly as described down a quiet little lane, very private and quiet, in Taffs well, a lovely little village. Easy commute into Cardiff.
Lovely area setting. Nice welcome touch of Wine @ Welsh cakes.
Meet the owner who was lovely and helpful.
Slight down fall, property had a tin roof so quite noisy when rained and it was a little chilly at night.

All is not as it seems.
Firstly I would like to say the host was helpful when we needed help with Internet login. And the decor was lovely however We were disappointed with the location and the outside sitting area. We had chosen this property over others because it looked as though it had a lovely space to sit and enjoy the outside. Sadly it wasn't quite how the picture looks and it wasn't clean. Inside looked really nicely decorated however it wasn't clean. We had to clean all the kitchen items before we could use them. Floors and sides were dirty. Kettle we didn't use as it was filthy inside and out. We used a pan to boil water instead. It came apparent when reading the rules in the welcome pack that you have to strip the bed put rugs and tea towels in a basket and sweep the floor before you leave. So it seems the place is only as clean as the last person left it!!! I am all for leaving a place tidy before you leave but this seems to be
so that they don't have to clean!!
Bedding was fresh and clean though and the bed was comfortable.
There was a nice little welcome bottle of wine and coffee and Welsh cakes but sadly there wasn't the basics like salt and pepper and considering its a place meant for upto four people frying pan and things are so small.
It's not so quite either of a Sunday being so near to the football club and the A470.
Sadly won't be returning

Disappointed at you’re review,
We take always take several hours between each changeover to make sure each of our properties are clean ready for the next people.
The outside area is pretty - but we are unable to predict weather and huge volumes of seed and pollen fall that we’ve experienced over the last couple of weeks- just part of spring time in the countryside!
Other reviewers have enjoyed both the home inside & out - we do hope this contradictory review won’t sway others from joining us.
