About this property

The luxury vacation house Emma Spagna is located in a beautiful building of 19th century, a few meters from the famous Spanish Steps of Trinità dei Monti in the center of Rome. This bright 90sqm apartment is situated on the 2th floor (no elevator) is finely appointed throughout with antique family pieces, beautiful handmade carpets and pictures.

Emma Spagna vacation house is quiet and spacious and offers a marvellous view staying in a tipical roman house in a street famous for its food markets, grocery and fish shop.

Through the hall you reach a studio with Tv and table for dinner, a large balcony on an internal and quiet patio, through a corridor you arrive in a funcional kitchen and a big living-room with comfortable sofas and two windows on via della Croce.

Furthermore, there is a master bedroom with a double bed and second bedroom with 2 single beds that could be converted to a comfortable double bed: two bathrooms equipped with a very comfortable shower.

The apartment’s amenities include: a washing-machine, dish washer, indipendent heating, tv and internet wi-fi.

No hot water!

A beautiful apartment in a great part of Rome, and very comfortable. But there was a problem with the water and it was not fixed, though the host said it would each day. In the end they said it could not be fixed while we were there.

Apartment review

Authentic old world feel at this apartment. Perfect location right in the heart of everything. Short walk to Spanish steps, the Trevi, Tons of restaurants and shopping. Only has a/c in the living room but there are fans for the bedrooms.

Fantastic location

This property is just steps from the beautiful Piazza Spagna. It is central to all attractions. We had a wonderful time exploring Rome from this location.

True Rome Experience

Despite the unique decorating style, this apartment is ok, but it does have its drawbacks. My top one is the electricity. We could never get the outlets to work properly. Some worked, some didn't. Some adapters worked, some didn't. My husband's CPAP machine broke the first time he plugged it in. I think the building needs to update its electrical systems. Other people we talked to while vacationing did not have the same experience in their rentals. The unit is located on a very busy and noisy street. It's perfect if you want to stay up late and have a good time, but it doesn't make for good sleeping conditions. There were several gelato places on the street, too. The rental is located very close to the metro and the Spanish steps. It's a very busy area with great shopping if you want to buy designer goods.
