This property has beautiful sea views from the lounge and benefits from patio doors leading out onto the patio and lawn overlooking Falmouth Bay. There are two bedrooms: the master bedroom has a superking sized bed and en-suite shower room. The living area/kitchen is open plan with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday.
The leisure centre is the perfect addition to ensure you have a wonderful stay whatever the weather.
Maenporth Beach, perfect for children, is just a few minutes walk away and benefits has its own cafe. The high quality Cove restaurant serves lunches and dinner overlooking the bay.

Relaxing home from home

We had a fantastic stay in Maenporth. The apartment was perfect and Fiona was great to deal with (even arranging to post our son's cuddly toys that were left behind!). The apartment was spotless and extremely well equipped with everything we needed.

Fantastic holiday would definitely return.

Had a really great week away in this lovely accommodation. The location couldn’t have been better with fantastic views of the sea and the accommodation was furnished to a high standard. Great place to take young families and the kids loved playing on Maenporth beach which also has a lovely cafe. The leisure facilities were great and the kids loved having a swim after a day out and about. Highly recommend!

Warm and cozy with wonderful views of the sea and beach.

An enjoyable holiday, lovely surrounding with well looked after gardens. The welcome pack with bubbly was much appreciated. At first did not like the steep ascent to the estate but eventually got used to it. It was difficult to access the gate key from the car.

Great apartment and location. The pool, tennis court, play area and beach kept our 3 boys, 11, 8 and 6 happy and entertained all week. Location is good to explore the local area and fantastic nearby beaches.

Clean, spacious, very well equipped & a great location with unrivalled views

Highly recommend staying here whether you're a couple or a young family. The apartment was spotless on arrival. Very spacious apartment with 2 bathrooms. The view was stunning from this ground floor apartment onto the bay and beach below. It's very well equipped too with a dishwasher & a washer dryer, and wet suits to borrow too. The owners were superb from start to finish. Plenty of clear communication from booking right up until we left. They were brilliant when the washing machine broke and it was fixed within a couple of working days.The facilities on site are perfect too with the pool, tennis courts and play area, and the you're only a 5 mins walk from the beach. Alternatively, you can drive down with a packed car and pay £3 to park all day. Highly recommended if you have a family of 4 with boards, wetsuits, windbreaker, etc etc. Maenporth is only 3 miles from Falmouth, so you're not short of daily home conveniences if you need them. We only spent a week at Maenporth estate, so cannot comment on a longer stay, but location was perfect to explore North coast, Eden project, St Michael's Mount etc. More than happy to return for another vacation.

Superb Apartment

What a fantastic property. Unbelievable views in a fabulous location. This well appointed apartment has everything you need and is extremely comfortable. There are wonderful walks along the coastal path in both directions and we particularly enjoyed walking into Falmouth. This was our 3rd stay at the apartment and we will definitely be returning.

Beautiful appartment and situation but the owners need to sort out the 2nd bedroom.

The appartment was situated in a beautiful part of Cornwall and had a fantastic view. The owners had gone to a lot of trouble to make sure that everything was covered to make for a good holiday ! The appartment was clean and very spacious apart from the 2nd bedroom which was cramped and really only good for children. The mattresses were uncomfortable and it really had a problem with a damp lingering smell which got into our clothes after being hung in the wardrobe . This was a real shame as the appartment overall was beautiful !

Perfect family vacation home!

We have stayed in maenporth numerous times and it never disappoints us. This property was actually our favourite we have stayed in . The view was just stunning and the property is well equipped and the coffee machine was a nice touch as were the goodies waiting for us upon arrival . We can't wait to return .

Superb holiday home with something for the whole family.

We had a lovely holiday. Whilst travelling from London to this region is always challenging, locating the place was quite straightforward. There are lots of supermarkets and shops along the way to purchase everything we required for our stay. The flat was very clean and had everything we were expecting including toys and board games for the kids to play. The Wi fi also came in handy. The best thing in the flat was the stunning views and there was enough garden space as well. The leisure centre which was a very short walk from flat had friendly and helpful staff. All facilities were well maintained. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained even when the weather was bad The area itself had of attractions with Maenporth beach being the highlight. We had lots of fun on sunny days and my daughter enjoyed Kayaking. We hired these from the beach. We also manged to visit the lost gardens of Heligan which was about a 40mins drive. Pendennis Castle was a hit with the whole family were there were lots of medieval activities on display the day we visited it. There were also many excellent restaurants and we enjoyed lots of local dishes and the seafood was delicious. Finally, I would like to thank Fiona who was very patience and helpful with all queries we had before and after making the booking. It made the whole experience a pleasant one. Overall it was one of the best Holidays we had in the UK.

Fantastic Family Holiday

We had a lovely week, the property was exactly as described it was very clean and tidy with everything needed to make it feel like a home from home . The views from the property are stunning and there is loads to do in the local area . The children had great fun in the pool which was never over crowded. In summary a wonderful place for a family holiday and we will definately be back .

Beautiful days in an luxury apartment

Before my husband and i starts the trip to Great Britain, Fiona Hill had helps us a much. Beginning with the arivall in Maenporth we have feeling ad home. Looking out from this great appartment is seing the sea and the nice Garten from Maenporth. In the kitchen there is all you need to cook. Our wish was, we want to stay a longer time in this apartment. This was not possibel an we will come back in two years. Barbara and Roman from Germany.

You Will Not Be Disappointed, Cosey,Homely & Views

We were looking for a holiday in the middle of September and apprehensive about the weather, 95% of the week polo shirt and 15 - 17 degrees. The description of the property was very accurate, very clean with every thing you could need for a stay away from home. Fiona the owner could not be more helpful, available at all times with information if required and local help just minutes away. Form the apartment to the swimming pool, sauna etc took all of 30 seconds, amenities here were 1st class. Down the hill towards the small beach is the Cove restaurant with excellent food, wine and setting. If going for dinner best to book a table. While I understand holidays are vary for everyone we wanted a base to drive from to visit different places. The apartment for us felt very cosy and homely with the added bonus of having access to our own patio with a place to barbecue, great garden with stunning views. There is so much to see and do reaching most of the lower end of Cornwall in under an hour driving. If you are a golfer then Falmouth Golf Club is just 5 minutes away. Negatives. Mobile phone coverage is poor especially with O2 and Vodafone, Who cares!!! Orange/EE okay Who cares!! wer'e on holiday. Great place to stay, give it a go you will not be disappointed. Steve & Karen

This Apartment is five star quality.

This apartment is excellent from the start of the holiday. Nice touch of a welcome bottle of Champagne .Beautiful views from the 2 bedrooms and the lounge. The furnishings are of very good quality Master bedroom/shower room very comfortable- in fact I wanted to take the bed home with me !Kitchen nicely furnished with all mod cons .The property was very clean and well maintained. Exactly as described. The owner provided very good customer service. I would like to recommend this property BUT as we have stayed in this property 4 times already I don`t want it to be booked so much that I can`t book another years holiday! Excellent appartment in prime location.

An excellent and well equipped appartment, with stunning views across Falmouth bay. The appartment is furnished to a high standard, and is well maintained. It is located within the Maenporth development which is also maintained to a very high standard, and has lots of facilities, including an indoor pool. There are many attractions within 15 minutes or so of the appartment, and the beach itself is just a few minutes walk. The Cove Restaurant, adjacent to Maenporth beach, is outstanding.

Summer Holiday with Family

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment, loved the views. The facilities were as listed and of a high standard. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Our children are aged between 6 and 16 years and they all enjoyed the pool, table tennis and beach. We had a relaxing, stress-free break as everything we needed was close by. We would recommend the apartment to other families.

Amazing accomodation

The apartment has to be the best positioned on the gated estate. Sitting in the lounge,2 bedrooms looking out to sea,was a dream. The apartment has excellent quality fittings and fixtures,and there is everything that you need for a fantastic holiday. The sea is a two minute walk down the hill,and the leisure centre is one minute walk from the apartment. Exceptionally clean,well maintained. The welcome bottle of champagne was a lovely touch. Would recommend this apartment to a friend,and would certainly book it again,maybe next year in fact.

Much the best place on our tour of England

HI Fiona, Just to say a big Thank You for our stay in your apartment. We toured for 5 days in Paris, 5 days in London, 1 week in Littlestone and then one week in your lovely apartment. The first three houses were nice but the top was the house in Maenporth.I can picture now looking from the bed to the sea, it was very beautiful, and for us all perfect. The views are better than the pictures !

We stayed as a family of 4 , really lovely apartment with all mod cons.Development was fab as well, with modern indoor pool + jacuzzi and sauna. But by far the best thing were the breath-taking views of the coastline, the beatiful sandy beach and the sea. You can see all the way round to the Lighthouse at St Mawes and the view is mesmorising come rain or shine - even in stormy weather I found myself watching the waves pound the cliffs. And when it was sunny (5 days out of 7 !) the colour of the water was stunning. The apartment has THE prime spot on the development(something Fiona should make more of) and for the money we paid we felt like we'd had a real bargain. The restaurant/bistro/bar, The Cove, 2 minutes walk away was great, again over-looking the beach. Only thing I would have liked is a supermarket a bit nearer (15 minutes drive to a big Asda), but that wasn't too big a deal. Thank you Fiona for all your help and advice - we had an amazing holiday and hope to be back again next year. Susie

My husband and I bought this property just before our first child was born and we have had so many happy family holidays with all three of our children who still love to come down now they are all adults - Maenporth really does have something for every age! I now own the property jointly with my three sisters as we wanted our own children to be able to enjoy bringing their families to our lovely holiday home which holds so many happy memories.

Why they chose this property

Maenporth is perfectly situated for exploring both the Helford River and the Lizard Peninsula. We always have a day or two over at the stunning beaches of Kynance Cove or Polurrian Bay where the surf is great for body boarding. The Roseland Peninsula is another favourite with children loving the unique King Harry Ferry journey across the river. Falmouth itself is a picturesque and perfectly sized seaside town with a wide variety of shops, galleries and award winning restaurants.

What makes this property unique

One of Maenporth's best features is the Leisure centre which means that there is always plenty to do even if the weather is not as good as you would hope! Our property is situated in a prime position on the estate offering fantastic sea views from the sofa. We are never short of things to do, whether it be a round of golf, a visit to nearby National Trust properties or just a day at Maenporth beach. Dining at The Cove restaurant is always a highlight of the week and having such a great beach cafe makes all the difference.
