3 The Coastguards is an absolutely fantastic four bedroom holiday home with stunning, partial views over Thorpeness beach and the sea beyond. The property is one of the four former coastguard cottages dating back to the 1830s and is ideally located in the popular seaside village of Thorpeness, just a few steps away from the beautiful shingle beach making it the perfect family holiday home by the sea.

Winter stay

We had a lovely time in the house which is well located for the beach and village. Lots of good walks around the area. The only thing that could be improved was the heating, as in some rooms it was pretty cold. Otherwise it was a great place to stay.
