The house is situated in a rural, wooded and mountainous area, 5 km from Frigiliana, nestled in the Sierra de Almijara Natural Park, in an ideal, very peaceful setting, far from the noise of the town, surrounded by nature, with beautiful views of Frigiliana, Nerja and, on the horizon, the vast expanse of the Mediterranean – just like looking at a postcard!
The house has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The accommodation offers a lawned garden with wonderful views of the bay, the beach, the sea, the valley and the mountains. The vicinity of places to go out makes this a fine holiday house to spend your holidays in Spain with family or friends.

Peaceful mountain retreat

The property was impeccably clean both inside and out. The outside space was invaluable with two very young children and the pool fantastic. We had a slight issue in that no high chair was provided (as requested) but the host managed to source one within a day for which we were grateful. The host was friendly and attended the garden every 4 days to maintain it/the pool - but kept v much out of the way. Two things it would have been useful to know in advance - weak wifi strength and the tap water may or may not (!) be drinkable (host family provided conflicting messages). We erred on the side of caution! All in all, a great few weeks in a quiet location away from any crowds. Bar Acebuchal - only 2km away into the mountains - provided by far the best food in the area. Highly recommend a visit if hairy mountain roads dont deter you!
