One of four vacation rentals just one block to water and beaches in Ocean Beach neighborhood of San Diego.

Just a short 5 block walk to Newport Avenue, the heart of Ocean Beach where you will find plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping.

Centrally located in San Diego this place is close airport, downtown San Diego and Balboa Park.

Approximately 550 square feet in size this place feels quite roomy as ceilings are open beam and vaulted.

Sleeps 4, one queen bed in bedroom and queen sleeper sofa

Fully stocked kitchen.

Beach gear includes the following: wagon, cooler, 2 beach chairs and umbrella

Linens and towels included

Outdoor deck is shared with the unit next door.

BBQ available and is also shared with unit next door

Ocean Beach in the flight path of the San Diego airport. Planes can begin taking off at 6:30 am and the last departures typically occur around 11:30 pm. There is a curfew in place that prohibits departures between 11:30 pm and 6:30 am.

We had the most delightful stay at Pippi’s Place! It is in the perfect walkable location in Ocean Beach, decorated so beautifully, and really everything you need is provided for a wonderful beach adventure.Katrina is an excellent host who goes above and beyond for her guests. We are so lucky to have had this time at her retreat! We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

Super cute property, close to the beach and very homey. Host was kind and responded fast. However keep in mind that guests are not allowed on the property at any time - which is unlike any property I’ve rented. We had some friends that live in OC who came down for a few days when we were there and they weren’t allowed to stop by for dinner or drinks or anything. We understood that the host wanted to keep a quiet environment for other guests so just be mindful of that rule if you do plan on wanting to meet up with people when you’re staying in SD. Other than that it was a great stay :)

The maximum occupancy for each of these 4 units on site is 4 per my city licensure. So that all guests on site can be assured the quiet enjoyment of their space during their stay, I simply can't have a parade of guests coming and going into any particular unit. I believe it is not uncommon for hosts to limit guests on site to only that of those registered on the reservation. I made an exception for these gals to book my place as the primary renter needs to meet minimum age requirement of 25. I apparently, wrongly assumed that having extra guests on site might be problematic. I had the pleasure of meeting them and they were delightful and mature beyond their years. I am not opposed to guests having visitors as long as the number of guests doesn't exceed 4 for all the reasons listed above.

We enjoyed our stay at Pippi's Paradise! The location was a block from the beach. It was an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and the dog beach. Clean, comfy and quiet, even on a weekend!

Enjoyed our stay, it had everything we needed including a garage. Really liked the close proximity to the beach, just a short five minute walk away. The neighborhood is quite eclectic offering a mixed variety of stores, restaurants and coffee shops. Best of all, our dog loved Dog Beach! Would definitely come back again.
