From the small winding streets to the large squares where people go for lunch or dinner, el Born is undoubtedly the best place to spend your holiday in Barcelona. My wonderful born apartment is situated in the absolute center of this charismatic and charming district and is amazingly well located - within 3-10 minutes you can walk to:
The beach, picasso museum,to Sta maria del mar, el parc de la ciutadella, jewish neighborhood, gothic quartier, city council, harbor...
Is a 4th floor wich means that is bright.
you are on the main place for bars cafes and restaurants, take a ride with a bicicle and guet lost on a medieval gothic village....

Beautiful apartment incredibly close to great bars and restaurants, gorgeous architecture, and public transit. The 4th floor apartment requires walking up 6 flights of steep stairs (yes, I said six -- I counted every time I went up), which is hard if you're not in shape. So if you have a hard time with stairs, this might not be for you. Otherwise, it's lovely, surprisingly spacious, and perfectly located.

Not for the weak

Apartment was fine once you got in. The doors were different open both the unit door and outside door didn’t always open. Very frustrating. The stairs were very narrow and there were about 70 of them.

They charged 35 euros for late check in, arrived 11:45 pm, means after 4 pm as it was advertised , I paid cash. I have the picture The stairs are too tiny, I filled out a form to pay tourism taxes (30 euros) and they never got the form,

Mostly good

Great place! All amenities listed were present and high quality. Only two complaints: a slight damp smell was present from the moment we walked in, and we were never given access to the terrace that was promised.

Not as advertised

Advertised as a 'charming appartment' but in fact uncared for, dirty, old and broken. Better to see this in close up photos. Great work on the part of property manager who welcomed us, my issue is with the owner who clearly has invested nothing in this appartment in 20/30 years. There should be a warning that the stairs are dangerous for older people, also dangerous settings on gas hob so difficult to see when off or on. The tiny shower was a dribble and dirty and when fixed, water poured our the side of the screen onto the floor. Broken skirting boards, smelly bathroom drains.
