I have grown up in the town my father was a butcher for 20+ years and love the area.
Having worked away in my corporate career I had always wanted to keep in the area and proud to host this cottage for your stay.

Why they chose this property

Candlers Cottage is situated in the market town of Harleston, enjoying a private location and just a short walk away from local restaurants, pubs and shops. The semi-detached cottage was originally built in the 1600s and is one of the oldest properties in town with some exposed timbers. Having been recently refurbished and extended in 2022, the property has been upgraded to an exceptionally high standard to offer the ideal holiday cottage with modern features.

What makes this property unique

A full welcome pack is provided with local attractions and recommendations to assist your visit, and the cottage has a private driveway to offer secure parking. Each room boasts an open and light atmosphere, and the eye-catching family bathroom is something to behold. Sleeping six guests, it offers three bedrooms each with a television - one with a queensize bed and en-suite facilities, and two further roomy double bedrooms. The kitchen on the ground floor has a gas range, American fridge/freezer and cosy underfloor heating. The cosy living room is the perfect place to snuggle up in front of the wood burner and watch a film after a day of exploring. Outside is a private courtyard and an external garden room with seating.
South Norfolk makes a great location from which to enjoy many great walks and country pubs, or it is possible to explore the popular city of Norwich, 20 miles away, by car or visit the coast, which is only 30 minutes away, and enjoy popular trips to Southwold. The house is located just 2 minutes’ walk from the main town amenities, making it the perfect location from which to explore Norfolk and Suffolk. Shop and pub 200 yards. Beach 21 miles.
