Crotona Garden 2 Bed Apt, Lush and Tropical with Pool. 2 Minutes Walk to Sea

Crotona provides a lush tropical experience in an exclusive walled garden with pool.
We have two 1 bedroom apartments, and one 2 bedroom apt., each with private open space, and easy access to the pool. Each 1 bed apt has an additional day bed in the living room, suitable for a child. We are in a quiet neighbourhood, only 2 minutes walk to the boardwalk, shops, restaurants, bars and the sea. Walk 10 minutes towards Bridgetown to enjoy horse racing at the Garrison Savannah on Saturdays. Walk 10 minutes to enjoy excellent surfing anywhere from "Sunset" at Rockley Beach to "Brandons" at the drill hall near the Savannah. Walk a little further along the beach to the Hilton, grab a flying fish cutter at Cuz's famous snackette. Walk a bit further along the beach at Carlisle Bay till you come to Lobster Alive, where you can have lunch and cool out with Art and the jazz band on a Sunday afternoon.

Everything we needed was a very easy 2-5 minute walk from the villa. The villa was everything I would want in a home in Barbados. Just beautiful ! It was incredibly hot the week we stayed, and only the one bedroom had AC, but it still managed to keep us comfortable. The property cat, Squeaky, was a welcome guest on the porch, and was always ready for a pat. The pool was awesome, especially at night...magical ! We'll be back again for sure !

Idyllic, unique Barbados accommodations

Crotona Gardens had everything my family and I needed for our 2 week stay and surpassed our expectations. The property is a beautiful oasis fully designed and built by the owners, and their love and care for the home is abundantly obvious. The grounds are gorgeous, with incredible landscaping and foliage that lets the mind wander and relax. A short walk to beach, restaurants, transportation and shops made it a breeze to navigate the island and our needs, as we were traveling with our 15 month old daughter - who adored our morning swims in the lovely on-site pool, which served as a refreshing break from the tropical island heat and a perfect start and end to each day. The Master A/C and ample fans kept the unit comfortable day and night. The kitchenette was fully equipped and an iMart is just a few mins walk away for essentials. Close proximity to the boardwalk and several walkable beach options was a huge plus. It was simple to hail a cab or Zed R for a tasty Oistins excursion or to explore other parts of the island. Mark and Priscilla were fantastic hosts in every way. They could not have been more hospitable, and their extensive knowledge of the island and history of Barbados really enhanced our experience. Mark, an architect, even designed and built the luxurious oversized beds in the unit! We could not have kinder words for thes hosts, and their hospitality truly made our trip unforgettable. On our next trip to Barbados, we will surely be staying at Crotona Gardens.
