We adore this rural, traditional Dorset village with 2 pubs, surrounded by idyllic countryside and just a couple of miles from the stunning Jurassic Coast.. Ground Floor:

Myrtle Cottage is perfect for a family stay with generous living space, and with an open plan kitchen/dining/living room and a separate sitting room it offers the perfect place to relax after a busy day. The bedrooms are cosy and flexible in their layout making this cottage ideal for families of all age groups.
A rural village but with two village inns within walking distance, the stunning Jurassic coastline just a few miles away and the rolling countryside on the doorstep; there is certainly plenty to explore during your stay. The setting is so idyllic, that you may not wish to venture far, however if you do head out you will be spoilt for choice of places to visit, from the stunning natural beauty of Golden Cap (the highest point along the south coast) to the charming coastal village of West Bay, with pubs, restaurants, independent shops and off course plenty of places for fish and chips! A little further afield, The Bovington Tank museum (perfect for a rainy day), Monkey world and the iconic National Trust Cerne Giant, are both worth a visit.
Whether you are looking for a holiday home for a relaxed long weekend or a base for longer stay during the summer or school holidays, we are sure that Myrtle Cottage will have you longing to return.
