Tides, Uig, Isle of Skye

Tides is a wonderful new property who's boundary is the high tide line in Uig. The views out over Uig Bay extend to the Ascrib Islands and the east side of the Waternish peninsula.
The water facing side of the property has been built to take in the delightful views which come with an array of wildlife. Don't be surprised if you see seals from the decking/ living room.
There are also a multitude of wading birds that wonder round the high tide line.
Whilst being in Uig, the property has been designed with privacy and tranquility in mind., so you get the benefits of being in a village, walking distance to pubs, restaurants etc, and your own personal space.
The garden is fully enclosed.
The property is also a 2 minute walk from the Uig ferry terminal.

Wow!

The Tide was absolutely perfect. Everything you need with the most stunning view! The location is great to get away from any crowds in Portree but close enough to anything you want to see. 10/10 would recommend and hope to stay here again one day!

Lovely property!! As gorgeous as pictured and so relaxing to look out at the water. Property was very clean and had all the essentials. Check in was very easy and when we had trouble figuring out the stove the company answered the phone straight away and explained it. The only negative I would note is that the location in the Harbor is a little less luxurious than the house. The houses next door have oils of garbage and furniture in their gardens.

We were wowed as soon as we walked in the door! What an amazing and beautiful home. We absolutely loved the decor and amenities. The view is breathtaking. Proximity to all the hiking and adventures Isle of Skye has to offer was great. The restaurants we ate at in town were delicious too.

Perfect rental for our family

Tides was the perfect rental for our family of five. Comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. Gorgeous views out over the water watching the ferry come and go. We had many gloomy days on our trip but the house was a wonderfully cozy place to hunker down and watch the storms blow through. Would highly recommend and hope to return someday!

Cozy, clean home, great for 6 adults!

We had a wonderful stay at Tides Uig. The pictures do not capture how beautiful the view is from the home. We also loved the daily visits from the local sheep. The space was perfect for multigenerational group. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We also appreciated that basic supplies that were provided. The location was perfect with just a short drive to many locations on Skye, but away from the business of Portree. We had a wonderful dinner at the Uig Inn and two locations within walking distance for breakfast and lunch. We wished we had planned more time at Tides!

Lovely views and clean space

The home was super clean and new and the views are to die for. Overall our stay was nice but some local recommendations would have been nice from the management company. Also the sheets and pillows were pretty low quality and could be improved.

Tides was an amazing property for our Isle of Skye visit. Between watching the weather roll in and out, the views across the bay, the sunsets and the rainbows, this location was excellent. We utilized the kitchen a lot, between cooking every breakfast and dinner there, and enjoyed the experience, although a knife sharpener would be a great addition to the well stocked kitchen. Having two ensuites and an additional bathroom (one for each bedroom essentially) was perfect for our group. And the clothes washer & dryer was a greatly needed bonus on our two week holiday. Would highly recommend the Tides for a quiet, tranquil experience.

Magical home in the Isle of Skye

Tides was beautiful, spacious, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location was fabulous within driving distance of the magnificent scenery and hiking and right on the water’s edge where we could hear the waves. One of our favorite places to stay of all time!

Stunning property with magnificent views

This house is absolutely stunning, the location and views of Uig Harbour are amazing, the interior is stylish, convenient and cosy. After some nice hill walks we simply enjoyed sitting on the sofa looking at the clouds, sea, rabbits and the ferry.

Family Getaway in an excellent house

The house was absolutely stunning and has views to die for with all rooms having views that you could sit and watch for hours. The woodburner was great as it was very stormy the night we arrived but was very cosy.
