lovely island & house

Very clean, organisation good, very pretty location on island. Would have been fabulous though we were unlucky with very noisy neighbours. Nelson was super helpful & we’d go again.

A break from reality

Armona is not for everyone, but if you are looking for great beaches, a relaxed atmosphere and a relaxing break, look no further 😎 and you will not find a better place to stay on the island than Nelson's place. It's modern, fresh, contemporary design is spacious and comfortable. It is missing nothing and is provided clean and well equiped with all the modern amenities we would like to get away from such as wifi and cable TV, but don't seem to be able to live without 🤔 i would definatley recommend and return if available😀

Beautiful beach house

This house is in the middle of Armona, right opposite the playground and just a couple of steps from the "side beach". A mini store where you can buy groceries is also close by, though I'd recommend getting yours in Olhao (greater choice, better quality). It's a 5 minute walk to the ferry and to the Atlantic beach The house was very well cleaned when we arrived. The kitchen has all the equipment you might need and also an outside barbecue area which we didn't use because of the cold weather. Nelson is a great host and takes a lot of care so that his guests feel comfortable. He sent a lot of details via whatsapp before our arrival, including ferry times, and helped us find an awesome nature guide to show us around the island.We were there in the low season and found Armona very tranquil and relaxing. I can imagine that it feels a bit different in July and August. All in all, we very much recommend this accomodation!

Geweldige vakantie

Het huis van Nelson is erg fijn. Ruime kamers en van alle gemakken voorzien. De communicatie met Nelson verliep zeer goed en vlot. Dank Nelson voor deze fijne vakantie! We komen zeker terug. De ligging van het huis is heel centraal op het eiland. Voor ons was het geen probleem maar let wel op dat dit huis tegenover de speeltuin ligt waar de kinderen graag tot na middernacht spelen. Vanaf het terras van het restaurant dat ook naast het huis ligt heb je heb je altijd wat muziek. De absolute rust zoekers zoeken misschien een rustiger plekje. Is dit voor jou ook geen probleem dan is het huis van Nelson perfect.

Excellent communication with owner! Cottage situated close to the beach and grocery store restaurant just steps away! Enjoyed the 2 Patios Owner Nelson was very quick to respond to any questions we had !Would highly recommend this spot and we would certainly stay again!

The property is immaculate, clean & very well equipped, a real home away from home. The location is excellent being very close to a small bar (that was closed in the evening so no noise) & shop. It was a five minute walk to the ferry. A perfect location on the island. This is the most wonderful holiday property-highly recommended!
