Stylish Farmhouse with Spa Tub

This beautifully renovated farmhouse in Kootstertille, Friesland is perfect for 2 families or a group of friends, comfortably hosting up to 10 guests. Set in a peaceful village between Groningen and Leeuwarden, it offers the ideal mix of relaxation and nature.

The house features five tastefully decorated bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. The cozy living room and multiple seating areas ensure everyone has their own space. Kids are welcome too, with a cot and high chair available. Step outside to enjoy a luxurious bubble bath, perfect for unwinding with drinks after a day of exploring. Dine al fresco under the roofed terrace or fire up the barbecue in the large garden. There’s private parking and a charging point for electric cars.

The area is rich in natural beauty, with walking and cycling paths nearby. Relax at Schuilenburg beach (4 km) or explore the charming cities of Dokkum (19 km), Leeuwarden (28 km), and Groningen (40 km). WiFi is included, making this an ideal countryside escape for every season.
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
Reservations for groups of persons under 25 years of age are not permitted

Wonderfull! One of the most luxerious houses we have ever been visiting. Lovely couple who own the place! Very cooperative and supportive. Despite the awful dutch weather (drizzle all day) a beautiful area to be in and Drachten and Lieward have all the excitement one needs!

Een super fijn huis. Mooi, schoon en alles was aanwezig. Ruim ook. Een kwartiertje rijden naar Drachten. De jazuzzi was heerlijk. Fijne kamers en keuken. Misschien wel goed om rekening mee te houden dat er op de papieren staat dat er na 23u geen muziek meer afgespeeld mag worden op het terras, maar dat je nog wel mag kletsen. Wij kregen echter vlak voor aankomst een bericht dat het stil moest zijn na 23u. Op alle papieren en naast de jacuzzi stond dat we wel gewoon nog mochten kletsen op het terras. Dat hebben we toen wel gedaan. Wel netjes al zeg ik het zelf; niet hard. De jacuzzi werd toen rond 01:00 uitgezet (op afstand, werd niet gezegd of gevraagd dat we stil moesten zijn). Hij gaf, na navraag, aan dat de buren vroeg moesten beginnen. Ik zou het vervelend vinden als we anderen tot last zijn, dus ik snap dat je geen lawaai mag maken. De buren bleken echter helemaal niet geklaagd te hebben/ geen last van ons te hebben. Mocht je dus een avondje terras/ jacuzzi voor je zien op een mooie zomerse avond, weet dan dat dit tot 23u kan en daarna wordt de jacuzzi uitgezet. Verder heel tevreden en nogmaals, heerlijk huis. Goed voor elkaar!!

Nach dem Lesen der Ruhe-Regeln freuten wir uns auf einen entspannten Aufenthalt. Leider wurden unsere Erwartungen enttäuscht. Die Lage direkt an einer Landstraße, die ab Dämmerung von Einheimischen offenbar als Rennstrecke genutzt wird, führte zu erheblicher Lärmbelästigung durch Lastwagen und aufheulende Motoren, nur wenige Meter vom Schlafplatz entfernt. Ab morgens um 8 Uhr sorgten Handwerker in der anderen Haushälfte mit lauten Geräten wie Flex und Stemmhammer für zusätzliche Störungen, da die Wände wenig schalldämmend sind. Fazit: Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und auch für größere Gruppen geeignet, doch die Lärmbelästigung durch den Straßenverkehr und insbesondere die vermeidbaren Arbeiten der Handwerker trübt den Aufenthalt erheblich. Ein deutlicher Hinweis auf die Geräuschsituation und die Renovierungsarbeiten wäre dringend erforderlich, um Gäste vorzubereiten.

Urlaub mit Freunden

Ich bin mit Freunden und zwei Kinder (1 Jahr) über Silvester in der Unterkunft gewesen. Wir fanden es traumhaft schön. Die Unterkunft ist super sauber und der Whirlpool läd zum Entspannen ein. Wir hatten eine super schöne Zeit und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen. Der Start in 2024 war phänomenal.
