This cottage is beautiful 😍.

This cottage is beautiful 😍. We had a very comfortable stay with everything we could ever need available to us. The cottage has definitely been decorated and maintained with love. The outside seating area is something else!! The summer house is beautiful and just right to enjoy the evening air on cooler, wetter days. I loved the provision of bird seed to feed the birds with ..... a lovely touch. The big deep bath was also very appreciated for soaking sore muscles after tackling 'The Old Man of Coniston'. We will definitely be coming back to stay at Hidden Cortage, it is a true 'gem' ❤️

Lovely cottage in a wonderful setting.

Lovely cottage in a wonderful setting. The cottage was fairly well equipped, although if you like cooking or baking I would recommend you bring your equipment as only the basics are provided. However, kitchen was clean and a nice room to be in.All rooms were comfy and clean, although it was a disappointment that no first night logs were provided, also bed linen had seen better days and bottom sheet kept coming loose as the sheet elastic had stretched. Having said that, none of the above spoilt the lovely cottage with a cozy fire and it was nicely presented. I'll just know what to bring if I stay again, which I happily would

Cottage was immaculate inside but the photos don't do it justice.

Cottage was immaculate inside but the photos don't do it justice. They left me with the impression that the lounge was simply a settee in front of the fire and the bedroom looked very dull even with a light on.In fact there was a decent size table in the lounge for meals, storage space under the stairs and the storage heaters were effective in keeping the lounge warm. The kitchen was a decent size and had all the normal utensils you would expect. The bedroom was larger than shown and contained two sets of drawers and a built in area for use as a wardrobe. The bed was very comfortable.Overall it was a compact but cosy and warm cottage. Located close to a busy road but no traffic noise indoors.
