A very cozy cottage, surrounded by lush nature, secluded and rural. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. Fits nature lovers perfectly. The plot has several lovely patios, both in the shade and sun. A lush garden gives you peace after the day's excursions. From the covered entrance you have on the right the spacious and well-equipped kitchen with dining area. To the left is the living room which in a separate space has a day bed for two people. The living room has comfortable seating and a modern TV with DVD, chromecast and a warming wood burning stove for slightly chilly evenings. There is also a bedroom with a single bed, separated by a curtain. The bathroom is spacious and has a bath with shower. At the stairs to the upper floor there is an exit to the back of the garden. On the second floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with an extra bed. There is also a large modern TV screen with the possibility to connect TV games etc. In the leafy garden outbuilding there is a laundry room. A small hen house is also on the plot. The owner has two beautiful roosters that bounce around in the chicken coop. There are also bicycles to borrow from the owner. The nature in the area with its lakes is very nice and there is plenty of games. There are nice walking paths and hiking trails. Close by is a fully open inn and an open-air museum. Örkelljunga has everything you need in its pleasant city center. A good selection of shops and restaurants. Around Hjälmsjön you can walk on paths and smaller roads. A larger public bathing area is located at Mamma's Bay. There is a handicapped-accessible lake bath with jetty and barbecue area. Hjälmsjön is widely known by canoeists and rowers for its mirror-shiny water. In the adjacent lakes there are perch, pike and roach. The fishing license is valid for most of the nearby lakes. A bit north of Örkelljunga is Kungsbygget's adventure park. At Hallandsåsen you can visit Vallåsen's ski resort in winter. A short drive away you have Ängelholm's beautiful city with nice shops, the beautiful local park and its long beach. Visit the Bjäre and Kulla peninsulas. Here you will find lots of nice excursion destinations and strawberry places. For those interested in golf, there is Örkelljunga's golf club with a lunch restaurant. Örkelljunga also has one of the country's best mini golf courses. A few miles north, at Markaryd, is the elk park, a fantastic excursion destination for the whole family. During weeks 25-32, the electricity is included.
