Casa Camelia is a completely new studio located in the historic center of Varenna, just a few steps from the lake, the characteristic beach of "Molo di sotto", the picturesque "Riva Grande", the famous “lake promenade” and from restaurants, shops, bars.
Casa Camelia is in one of the characteristic lane of Varenna and has an open space with kitchenette with induction plates, sink and fridge, Temperated glass table, TV and A/C. Night space has a double bed with a stone wall which brings a sophisticated air of the apartment. The bathroom has a modern shower, sink, WX and bidet further to hairdryer. The property has private WIFI.
Casa Camelia is located in the center of Varenna, just 700 meters from the station of Varenna, with trains to and from Milan at all hours, and 400 meters from the pier that connects Varenna to Bellagio, Cadenabbia, Menaggio, Tremezzo and all the center lake.

The customer service and people were amazing! Everyone was extremely helpful and nice!
Comfortability of the mattress and pillows. The mattress was extremely hard.

Beware - Not as Advertised
This unit did not come as advertised. Beware!! No TV and No Wifi available during our entire stay. No accommodation from host for this either. Bed was too firm and uncomfortable causing both me and my spouse to sleep very poorly and us to wake up with back pain. Only 2 Pillows provided and they were as thin as a wafer, and very uncomfortable as well. Sounds of neighbors talking came through the walls. A very bright street light shines through the entry door making it difficult to sleep. Entry door has windows and no way to cover the windows to stop the light from coming through. Other than that, the location was great and the condition of the apartment was very nice. We will look for a different alternative next time.

Hello Jason, thank you for your comment. Please note there are TV and Wifi in the accomodation. Moreover, we could provide you more pillows if you had asked for them, while beds comfort is a really subjective aspect. Thank you for the suggestion about the curtains.

Beautiful apartment for 2 people
Lovely apartment, clean with everything that we needed for our short stay, great location in Varenna with everything within walking distance.
Staff at Varenna Holidays were very helpful and always quick to reply to our emails before arriving (nothing was too much trouble).
Our apartment was only used to shower and sleep - hardly spent anytime in it, there was too much to see and do!!
