Wroxham, known as capital of the Norfolk Broads, 9 miles, has many waterside cafés, restaurants, shops and daily river trips and daily boat hire available. You can also catch the Bure Valley Steam Railway here for a wonderful trip to the market town of Aylsham, or take the train to Cromer, which is a traditional seaside resort with pier and promenade. Other places of interest include Sheringham, 22 miles, home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway and the National Trust Sheringham Gardens.
