Neighbourhood highlights With its remarkable range of plants and animals, ancient tradition of commoning, varied history and distinctive local communities, the New Forest National Park is unique. The landscape of the New Forest National Park is beautiful, rare and fragile. The Park also boasts 26 miles of lesser known but very important coastline, around 1,000 ancient trees and the most extensive area of heathland remaining in Europe, as well as clean air and a sense of wildness that is hard to find. There are many miles of crystal clear streams, rivers and ponds. This special environment inspires local food, drink and crafts of the highest quality. Finally, the New Forest is one of the most intact networks of wetland habitat in Western Europe. Its mires, bogs, ponds, rivers and streams are one of the Forest's most precious qualities, a key reason why the area was designated a National Park.
Getting around There is free parking next to the lodge on site. Everything you need is within easy reach. There are local pubs to either walk to or drive. There is a shop onsite and even a bus stop just outside the park. Embraced in the Forest but still within easy reach of the Motorway which can take you to the sights close by.

This was our second visit for 2 weeks in this lodge.
Nice and quiet park in a place where you can walk straight into the woods of the New Forest. Everything in the lodge is present and looks clean. Highly recommended!
Lovely new lodge with everything you need! Site has lots of activities for the kids and direct access onto the forest for dog walks. Outdoor restaurant (section undercover) right by the kids playground so parents can relax with a drink whilst keeping an eye on the little ones.
Beautiful holiday cottage in the middle of New forest location
Beautiful home, lovely location , quite and peaceful surroundings, the holiday home had every thing we needed. Had a lovely half term with children. Would highly recommend it. Emma is very friendly and responsive host.
We had a lovely 4 night stay in Bumble Lodge. The lodge was very clean and very well equipped. It is located in a new park and is in a quiet corner of the park. The owner was very easy to communicate with. My only feedback would be that the pictures show an uninterrupted view out of the patio doors however there is now another lodge situated opposite; though this is across the road and doesn’t overlook the lodge.
The lodge was very homely, comfortable and very well appointed with all of the amenities of a "home from home". Just what is needed for a flexible getaway break! The UK weather couldn't be helped! But the cosy lodge made up for it. The surroundings and the park were lovely and we look forward to returning in better weather!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely Lodge in Landford. Everything was beautiful and clean ready for our arrival and the Lodge has everything you need for a relaxing countryside holiday. Although we didn’t use them as we were on a short break, the site has some good facilities for families. While being in a quiet location, we were well placed for our visits to the New Forest, Salisbury and Stonehenge. We particularly enjoyed exploring the Bolderwood and Rhinefield Ornamental Drives on the way to Brockenhurst. Emma is a great host and kept in good contact with us. I recommend a stay at Bumble Lodge if you visit the New Forest.
Very good house and also the best place in the park!
We had a great time here with our family (children 3 and 6 years old). The holiday home is kept as new and is practically cleverly laid out, which gives a spacious feeling. The cottage is also sheltered so it is cool inside on hot days. The children can enjoy themselves for a few hours at the park. In addition, there are direct walking routes from the campsite to visit the New Forest. It is also very convenient that the car can be parked next to the house, including bicycles or other goods. The park has a quiet period from 23:00 - 7 am. Very nice to sleep peacefully. The location of the cottage is very favorable in my opinion. It is not opposite the busy playground and behind the cottage in the field, in the night and early morning the deer and wild animals walking behind the house. This gives a good reason to get up early!
We give the house a 9.5 out of 10. Very good chance that we will book this house again in the future.
Emma’s lodge was a pleasure to stay in. So clean and well equipped with lots of luxurious touches. We had a great time exploring the New Forest (even when it rained)! The grounds at Green Hill Farm are really well cared for too.
We had a lovely 4 night stay in the cabin. It was clean and, well maintained and well equipped. Good base for exploring the New Forest and local areas. Would have preferred the check in time to be a little earlier, 4pm meant we missed out on most of the first day of our holiday and wasn’t time to do much after we got in and unpacked given we have a toddler.
Lodge was brilliant. Lots of lovely little touches that made it a home from home. Great location and size perfect for 2 adults and an 18 month old. Thank you for our stay!
Super clean, great base location for New Forest, more than enough space for family of 4, parking right outside, property had all that was required and more. Thanks!
Great location and really lovely holiday park. The children really enjoyed the play area and toasting marshmallows at the fire pit. Lovely walk around the perimeter with a gate onto more walking on the Heath. Lots of ponies to see, together with cows and donkeys, we had lots of games of who could see them first. A trip to the beach was also in really easy distance and of course, Paultons Park absolutely great for the children. The week was thoroughly enjoyed by all and went far too quickly. We can’t wait to come again soon.
The lodge was beautiful and immaculate with everything you need catered for beautiful place to stay i would highly recommend its location is idillic with access to the new forest just a few minutes walk in the site were you will see wild horses etc. You have some very beautiful little villages close by and driving through the new forest is a lovely we saw pigs and donkeys horses cows was such a lovely stay. will definitely come back here Green hill Farm is a great site staff very friendly and ideal location for dogs
