Combe Martin is a popular seaside resort resting on the North Devon coastline; encompassed by the beautiful landscapes of the Exmoor National Park and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you can ensure that Silver Vale is perfectly positioned for a scenic break. The interior of this detached property feels fresh and modern, and the underfloor heating downstairs makes it a real home-from-home. The spacious kitchen offers all that you need to cook up a feast for everybody and gather together around the dining table to create a plan of action for the day. Patio doors open out onto a decked area, where you can dine al fresco during the warmer months and enjoy watching the sun set across the horizon with a refreshing drink in hand. The decked area has steps leading to a lawn, and there is also a sunny patio area to the front of the property.
You will also find an inviting living room, ideally suited for spending quality time with family and friends when you’re not out exploring the beauty of North Devon. Unwind into your evening by switching on the Smart TV with Freeview, and selecting something to watch on Netflix, or get lost within a good book before you retreat to bed.
Once the evening draws to a close, you can find three beautiful bedrooms on the first floor. A short stroll will bring you to the centre of Combe Martin where you will be greeted by a good selection of shops where you can pick up some last-minute items to prepare a delicious picnic to bring out with you, as well as a welcoming pub serving delicious meals. From beach to nature walks, you will find everything you are looking for; local family attractions include Watermouth Castle, The Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Exmoor Zoo. Exmoor National Park is a short distance away, and on a clear day the views can be spectacular. There is a good range of walking for all abilities on Exmoor and the slightly more challenging South West Coast Path.
There are National Trust properties at Arlington and Knightshayes, and RHS gardens at Rosemoor and Great Torrington. The popular Tarka Trail provides a unique opportunity to follow a disused railway line, allowing you to enjoy some of Devon’s finest countryside and scenery stretching from Barnstaple through to Bideford and beyond. At Croyde and Woolacombe you will find some of the best and cleanest surf beaches in the country, as well as many smaller coves and bays. Silver Vale is truly a marvellous base for exploring the coast and countryside of Devon.
