A Devon experience
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aggie’s Cottage. The cottage is roomy and light filled and perfect for two couples traveling together. We had everything we needed, but it would’ve been nice to have more than one toilet roll per bathroom provided. Otherwise, the experience was wonderful and the surrounding views from the cottage are stunning.
Had an absolutely brilliant time staying in Aggie's Cottage for the October half term holiday. The cottage is lovely, well equipped, cosy and warm with fantastic gardens for the children to play out in. We were very lucky with good weather for most of the week so we were able to fully explore the area with it's beautiful coastline and amazing beaches. Kathy and Tim were very welcoming and helpful hosts with great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We'll come again for sure.

Characterful but tired
Firstly, we had a great holiday - however having stayed in Dolly's last year and my daughter having Poppy's with us this year Aggies was disappointing.
It's very characterful but tired and in need of a refurb. The downstairs bedrooms were very comfortable but the first floor one full of pitfalls - very low beams and difficult stairs to negotiate in the night to get down to the bathroom. Also a small hole in the floor which has been filled but at a lower level than the rest. You need to be very able to avoid the obstacles.
Having said that location is perfect and the outside space brilliant for my grandsons to play in and we had a fabulous time. The cream tea was also really appreciated.

Aggies
Not as clean as it first looked, we rented 2 cottages and there was a small bin at both for recycling which were soon overflowing and never got emptied and 1 dustbin between the 3 cottages on the site which was overflowing by the middle of the week. The bathroom floor in aggies has loose and broken tiles so you have to be careful and the old toilet flush only works intermitently so sometimes you have to leave it which isnt nice especially as there is no window and the extractor fan doesnt work
A fabulous welcome at Christmas time with a tree, decorations & treats, comfortable beds, brilliant kitchen knives & saucepans, great location for exploring the coastline
A group of six stayed at Aggies cottage over October half term. The cottage is cosy and nicely decorated however the kitchen is poorly equipped - very small fridge for a group of 6; no dishwasher; and not very well supplied with cooking and eating implements.
Apart from this the cottage is in a nice location, close to both Ilfracombe and Woolacombe.
We loved the cosy cottage feel of the property which is actually really spacious inside and never seemed crowded with 4 adults and 2 children. The set up on the farm is excellent with good access, parking and a beautiful garden with children's playpark built in. The location was great with excellent access to lots of North Devon beaches and nearby national trusts, as well as a really quick drive into Ilfracombe for shops and food. The shared beach/surf equipment that was available to borrow was a hit with the children.

Lovely cottage, very clean .Tina and husband were lovely.
Location was ideal , definitely need a car . Views were fabulous the cottage was very equipped but the door to the barbecue was a stable door that you couldn’t lock the two halves together so watch if you open and move the mat at the same time ouch when you catch your head.
Will go again earlier in the season as we encountered quite a bit of rain .
Heat find for families
Great property. Really friendly and very helpful site manager ( Tina ). Excellent COVID regulations in place. Lovely gardens. Very homely. Had a lovely relaxing break.

Brilliant week at Aggie’s.
Tim and Kathy were exceptional hosts at this very comfortable and characterful cottage. The children loved the play area and the adults loved the garden. It was very well placed within easy reach of several brilliant beaches. We would definitely stay at Aggie’s Cottage again.

Good location, Lovely property.
We stayed in Aggies Cottage for the first week in July... Lovely accomodation, fantastic weather and a good location, close to Ilfracombe and Woolacombe.
The property is well maintained, has quirky features, we found it clean and had everything we needed... Apart from a dishwasher... ! A bit disappointed by that since it was included in the property details.
The garden is huge, and kept nicely... We feel the outdoor seating could be more " user friendly " ... Tradional deckchairs are nice, but not the easiest or most comfortable for ladies of a certain age !
We would definitely recommend the property... The owners were welcoming and there was a cream tea awaiting us on our arrival... Very nice... Thank you.

Beautiful cottage close to everything you would ne
We stayed at Aggies Cottage for 5 nights with our 2 young boys (1 and 4) and absolutely loved it. There were 2 Easter eggs waiting for us as well which was a wonderful little touch. The Cottage was clean and beautifully decorated and had everything we needed within it. None of the amenities are too far away and the gorgeous coast is a short drive away. I would definitely recommend Aggies Cottage to anyone.

Absolutely idyllic!! Have recommended to friends!
Perfect for us and our four grandchildren. Safe environment and play area. Liked the open lay out of the cottage as you are all together when cooking and eating. Cottage very well equipped, much better than we anticipated. Much thought has gone into it. Owners of cottage very friendly. We have recommended this property to friends and family who are looking at staying there next year.

Outstanding
From initial inquiry to check-out, this was a very positive experience. Everyone we dealt with was exceptionally helpful and professional and the property was a lovey retreat.
Aggie's Cottage is superbly equipped and beautifully clean and tidy. It's the little things that often count the most and, in this case, the cottage is a real home-from-home with items like a new sponge and cloth for washing up; greaseproof paper for baking; tin foil; cling film and pretty much every kitchen item you could possibly need.
On top of this, the place is nicely furnished with comfortable beds and a spacious and well thought-out living area.
Tim, Kathy and family were so welcoming and happy to do what they could to make our stay a very relaxing one. We will definitely be back.
