Comfortable house facing the see
House was very comfortable. We spend great time in family. Great view from the terrace watching the movements of the sea tides. Beautiful colours at dawn and sunset. Our host Gillie has been very welcoming.

Holiday in the Highlands
Myself and a group of friends decided to have some time away in the highlands, and booked here. The house is amazing. The view is incredible, and it’s hard to beat the wonderfully isolated beautiful location. That said, Durness is only 3 miles down the road with a lovely shop for all the essentials. The host is very responsive, and overall absolutely wonderful. Would highly recommend. We all had an amazing time.

My husband's family has farmed sheep up in Durness since 1908.

In 2012 the farm was split with his cousin and my Husband now runs the farm down at Rhigolter.
As a family we have been coming up to Durness since the early 70's and have enjoyed wonderful holiday up here. Our children and grandchildren come regularly too.

Why they chose this property

This was a shepherd's house ,but has lain derelict for years. We have recently extended and modernised it.

What makes this property unique

The glorious view out of the back of the house never ceases to provide magnificent views of the ever changing tides and the sand patterns.
