Sehr schöne Lage, traumhaft. Haus ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Außerordentliche Lage, sehr schöner Pool. Das Haus ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Leichter Reparaturstau, der auch nicht beseitigt wurde. Küche war nicht wirklich sauber, haben wir selber am Tag nach unserer Ankunft geputzt. Eine Terrassentür konnte nicht geöffnet werden. 3 Weingläser für ein 6 Personenhaus sind nicht wirklich ausreichend. Wasserdruck in der Küche unterirdich, Spüle nicht nutzbar. Man wollte sich drum kümmern, passiert ist nichts. Die Spülung der Toilette im Appartment war undicht und der Abfluss unterhalb des Pools verstopft. Der Pool wurde einmal gereinigt, mit dem Ergebnis, dass der gesamte Aussenbereich mit den ca. 100 Stufen verdreckt und danach nicht gesäubert wurde. Das haben wir dann selber gemacht, da die Aktion während unserer Abwesenheit stattfand. Ein Staubsauger war leider nicht verfügbar. Trotzdem ansonsten ein tolles Haus mit vielen Stufen (außerhalb). Aufgrund der genannten Mängel war der Urlaub leider etwas getrübt und das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis des Hauses war nicht ok.

Great Location

We very much enjoyed our stay. The Villa is well equipped and has some great views. The accommodation is spacious and light. You can walk out to shops and cafes and within 15 minutes, drive to Funchal.

Great views and location

We loved the location and the proximity to the local shops and cafes in Garajau albeit uphill all the way! The villa has very good facilities and plenty of space. The views are spectacular. It is a very hilly location like much of Madeira and there are a lot of steps to climb up and down just within the villa itself which would be a problem for anyone without a reasonable level of fitness. There are for example about 95 steps from the entrance to get to the swimming pool level. It wasn't clear from the description that one of the bedrooms was a separate studio apartment which wasn't connected internally to the rest of the villa and we thought that it should have been made clear that there were lots of steps to navigate. A photo of the villa from the front would have shown this. A number of maintenance issues hadn't been dealt with until we pointed them out (but they were then fixed promptly). We thought that some spare bin bags and some dishwasher tablets could have been provided.

Fantastique!

Superbe emplacement ! Un garage où on se gare facilement au rez de chaussée, un magnifique studio vue mer au premier étage, un salon + cuisine vue mer au deuxième étage, deux chambres au 3é étage et la piscine au dernier étage. La maison est très grande, très bien aménagée et facile d'accès. La vue mer est exceptionnelle. L'agence qui s'occupe de la location est très réactive en cas de problème. A recommander.
