A lot of potential but disappointing

When I arrived the house was a mess. Dirty marks on the floor, crumbs, and dust, trash under the couch and to the side of the bed and so much more. The host was helpful in getting everything sorted for the most part but the cleaning company visited the house a couple times and did nothing. The place has a lot of potential to be very charming, especially since it is in a good area, but overall extremely disappointed.

Sophie raised a complaint about the standard of the cleaning on arrival and as such we sent the cleaning team back not once but twice. Given that the guest stayed the full duration of her booking rather than leaving the property we would suggest that this is not a cleaning issue here. She was refunded the full cleaning fee and 1 night of her stay for the inconvenience of having the cleaners have to return. House of Kip
