My elderly father and I had a wonderful few days here. Everything was so easy being in the village, we never cooked as there are lots of options for eating out or takeaway. Local dog walks were super and the enclosed courtyard meant we were never worried about the dog. Hosts were easy to contact and replied quickly to questions. Would happily recommend this lovely cottage and delightful village.
This cottage is an absolute gem. Excellent position just off the high street.
More spacious than the pictures show although they are very accurate to how the property looks.
Lovely touch of cake and milk thank you.
Absolutely spotless throughout and lovely and warm.
Beds really comfortably, bedding and towels beautiful quality.
The sandwich box on back high street does great breakfast options and open 7.30-2.30 so ideal to pop in after walking our dog along the river!
The Royal Oak across the river has amazing value food and really friendly staff. We popped in for lunch one day and the ciabatta was so big we didn’t have room for dinner.
We stayed here for three nights over Easter. The cottage is tucked away just off the Main Street with pubs, shops and cafe/eateries just a short walk away. Ideal location, quiet and cosy. The cottage itself is excellent with a good amount of space inside. The courtyard outside is great and will be even better in summer.
Amenities are very good though we couldn’t work out how to use the electric hob (our fault as we are used to gas..!!!)
The bedroom annexe is great with its own space and own bathroom.
We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again in the future. Hosts communication was very good and they left some delicious biscuits along with some milk for us which was a lovely touch.
We would highly recommend.
Nice little cottage, warm and cosy, room enough for 4 adults and dog.
Very clean and well equipped, lovely to have milk and teabags provided for when we arrived.
Hope to return
