The hues of the sky paired with the vastness of an ocean teeming with surfers is a truly unique experience. Mateo’s Penthouse is located in the most authentic and welcoming part of the beach—in a pedestrian zone with a wide variety of restaurants, supermarkets, sports facilities, surf schools, and playgrounds… what more could you ask for? Right next door is our restaurant, MAR Gastrotasca, with a terrace overlooking the sea, run by the famous chef Oscar Dallas. The beach is 25 m away, the municipal library is 10 m away, and the Go Feet gym—featuring a pool, sauna, and thalassotherapy—is 100 m away. 150 m from a supermarket and health centre; 350 m from the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium; 450 m from the LAS ARENAS shopping centre—the island’s largest; and 1,300 m from the El Corte Inglés shopping centre. From our location, you can walk to all the most important parts of the city of Las Palmas. Great balcony, clean and functional property

Great experience, however there are some opportunities to make the guest experience more enjoyable. For example, it is standard (have been going to Las Palmas for 10 years) to have beach towels. This apartment did not have them, just regular white towels, which is OK. People at the restaurant were great to give the key and the process was easy. There is plenty of seating room and the apartment was very clean. The balcony with its furniture made all the difference.
