The hosts messaged before and during our stay to ensure all our needs were met. They couldn’t have done more. The train carriage was unique, quirky, clean, attractive and catered for all our needs. It’s within a private, large grassed garden surrounded by countryside.

Railway Carriage

It was a lovely unique experience. The location is great with the beach only a 15 minutes drive away. We were very lucky to have enjoyed a whole week of glorious warm sunshine so we could take advantage of the huge private outdoor space with lovely peaceful surroundings. The fire pit and outdoor shower were an added extra surprise. Great experience would stay again.

Quirky and interesting property

Property was very well presented and organised - well thought out for a small space and had everything you would need. Owner came over and gave us tips on what to do in the local area which was helpful. Just a couple of suggestions: 1. We arrived in the dark (not planned, but traffic terrible making our journey twice as long as we expected). Property very hard to find in the dark as it is at the back of what looks like a small industrial estate. Probably easier in the day light. 2. Private garden to the property is great and surprisingly big. We brought dogs and it seems from the guest book that many guests do - would be even better if the garden was secure, which wouldn't be difficult to do as most of it is already fenced.
