OUTSIDE – Private rear garden with grass & patio area, front lawn with gate to village amenities, short walk to beach. Please note - the cottage does not have a parking space so we recommend using the Long Stay car park which is less than 5 minutes walk from the cottage itself.

Escape to this delightful 2-bedroom cottage, located in the charming village of East Wittering. Wallaby was built for local fisherman in the 1900's and has been in the owner's family since 1939. This little seaside retreat offers everything you need for a relaxing seaside getaway. Wallaby is a charming, traditional fisherman's cottage nestled in the heart of East Wittering village and has a 2-bedroom sister cottage ‘Shealing’ next door, also available to rent. Located within walking distance of local cafés, shops, and the shoreline, it’s the perfect base for beach strolls, seaside dining, and exploring the beauty of the South Coast. Ideal for couples or small families seeking an authentic coastal escape.

Enter Wallaby through the flint walled front garden. On the ground floor, you will find a very well-equipped kitchen including coffee pod machine, dishwasher and washing machine. The living room provides a cosy space to unwind after a day exploring the coast, with comfy sofa and armchair plus flatscreen TV and Alexa. There is also a dining area tucked into the bay window nook with a window seat and dining table to seat 4. The cottage has a traditional layout with the bathroom on the ground floor where you will find a shower, sink and W/C.

Wind up the little staircase and you will find two cosy bedrooms; one king bedroom with flatscreen TV and one twin bedroom. Wallaby is directly in the heart of the village and you are immediately within walking distance of beach, cafes, local shops and restaurants. Please note the cottage does not come with a parking space however we can book x1 car into the local long stay car park (approximately 5 minutes’ walk from the property.)

Outside to the rear there is a delightful garden with seating and parasol and back door access to the cottage. At the front, the cottage has a grass garden with path and gate which leads directly onto the village itself.
