Holiday home with an amazing view!

Surroundings
The holiday home is located on the grounds of the Uitgeest Marina.
A small-scale, well-maintained and professionally managed marina and holiday park. Parking is not a problem, the house has its own parking space, right at the front door. Additional cars can be parked outside the barrier in the car park.
The Alkmaarder- and Uitgeestermeer offers plenty of recreational opportunities: sailing, water skiing, surfing, swimming and boat rental. Via the lakes you can sail by boat to Alkmaar or follow the meandering Zaan to Amsterdam. The surrounding nature has unique flora and fauna and yet you live close to the center of Uitgeest and the A9 motorway (Alkmaar-Amsterdam).

Accomodation
The house is all on the ground floor and therefore suitable for all age groups. There are 2 bedrooms (1 x bunk bed and 2 x single bed), storage room with washing machine and tumble dryer, spacious bathroom with bath, walk-in shower and washbasin with furniture.
In the corner of the bright living room is the open kitchen, which is fully equipped with appliances and cooking utensils. The 2 comfortable sofas can also be used as a place to sleep. This allows up to 6 people to stay.
From the living room you can reach the sunny terrace with a view of the harbor.
Here you can enjoy peace, nature, rippling water and water sports.

Super clean and cozy

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Uitgeest. I had a rental car and it was near major roadways with good connectivity to shopping, attractions and the train. The property was very clean and comfortable. The weather was a bit cool and damp during my stay, but the apartment was very cozy.

The view was special. The apartment was 35 minutes walk to bus. Very cold upon arrival. We turned ithe thermostat up but it kept going back down so we were uncomfortable . The bedding was odd…Long walk to grocery and restaurants

Great view and natural ambience

The holiday flat was clean, comfortable and had all the necessary equipment. The fantastic view of the lake from the terrace was the highlight. The people in the area were very friendly and helpful. The apartment has a good position. Amsterdam can be reached by car in about 30 minutes, by e-bike in about 1.5/2 hours (bike rental nearby). But other interesting places are also easy to reach (dune reserves, North Sea, cheese markets, cities like Den Haag). One negative point about the location is that the apartment is unfortunately in the flight corridor of Amsterdam Airport (this was not mentioned in the description of the apartment). To open the windows on very warm days in the evening until the morning can be a bit noisy. As the apartment has no air conditioning, you have to open the windows in summer.

Das postive zuerst, tolle Lage am Yachthafen.Die Einflugschneise direkt über dem Objekt mit nahezu minütlichen Überflügen Tags wie Nachts hat uns die Freude genommen und extrem genervt. Für Menschen, die die Batterien aus den Hörgeräten nehmen können, mag das nach entprechender Ankündigung o.k. sein, für jeden normal hörenden ist dieser Fakt eine unakzeptable Zumutung. Mit Ausflügen zu den sehenswerten Städtchen in der Nähe bekamen wir am Tag wenigstens ein wenig Ruhe. Unter diesen Bedingungen absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Toller Ausblick und super Lage

Es war toll. Ca. 25 Minuten von Amsterdam. Abseits des Trubels, aber nah genug an vielen interessanten Punkten gelegen. Alles was das Herz begehrt, super Ausstattung, Lage und Sauberkeit. Immer wieder gerne.
