Le Chalet

Nous avons adoré notre séjour en Martinique. Nous n’avons pas loué de véhicule nous avons pris le transport en commun que nous avons bien aimé. L’épicerie est juste en bas de la côte et avec tout se dont nous avions besoins. Beaucoup de restaurants aux environs. L’appartement est très confortable et manque de rien. Philippe est vraiment gentil et est a l’écoute de nos besoin et très serviable, il nous a sorti dans un bar/restaurant une soirée que nous avons apprécié grandement. Il nous a même aidé pour notre première épicerie. Nous allons être de retour certainement. Merci à Philippe.

Philippe est un logeur accommodant,sympa, discret mais attentionné qui a su nous donner de bonnes adresses. Nous avons dîné ensemble le soir de notre arrivée. Faites lui confiance. Appartement à la hauteur de nos espérances, conforme à l'annonce et surtout facile d'entretien car les vacances, c'est pour tout le monde. Bien situé pour visiter l'île, à deux pas de la plage de l'anse à l’âne (en voiture) pour les jours de farniente avec commerces de proximité à dispo ( bouches , presse , boulangerie et pleins de restos sympa. Magnifique séjour en Martinique et ce n'est pas peu dire.L'île est splendide mais pas très grande. Donc en fonction de la durée de votre séjour prévoir des sorties en mer vers les îles voisines. Et surtout, allez voir Chichine, la mercière de Saint Esprit ( superbe village ) qui officie dans la rue qui passe devant la Mairie . Elle est sympa et à de super beaux tissus caribéens et africains dans son magasin à des prix défiants toute concurrence. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. L'appartement est conforme à l'annonce, spacieux et bien agencé, dans une résidence calme. Il est également bien situé, la plage est à 10 à 15 minutes à pied avec une supérette et des restaurants. Le propriétaire est sympathique. Je recommande cette location.

Very pleased indeed.

The apartment is spacious, in a quiet area, and secure. It is a ten minute walk to the beach, along a sometimes busy road, so a car is recommended, although we managed without one. The apartment was very clean and tidy. The kitchen is nicely equipped, stocked with the essentials (salt, sugar, etc), and we were left with a number of food items from the previous guests. There is a small but well-stocked grocery store (Huit à Huit) near the beach. (Fresh bread daily; try it with their hot BBQ chicken!) Good range of restaurants along the beach, including the higher-end PIgnon sur Mer & Pignon sur Mer Nouvelle Vague (fish is always a good choice, and loved the 'flan coco'!). The beach (L' Anse à l' Ane) itself is excellent, wider and less crowded than some others (such as L' Anse Mitan). Fort de France is a 20-minute ferry ride away - very convenient. The apartment owner, Philippe, is super. He went out of his way to see that we had all we needed. Friendly, professional, and very helpful. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement neuf, spacieux, propre, ventilé, très bien aménagé et tout à fait conforme à la description de l'annonce. Un très grand merci va au propriétaire, Philippe, pour son chaleureux accueil et sa disponibilité, surtout en considérant que nous avions réservé au dernière minute! Nous recommendons sans doute cette location et nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir pour notre prochain séjour à la Martinique.
