About this property

Holland Park Townhouse, by Veeve

In the enclave bridging two of London’s most prestigious areas – Notting Hill and Holland Park – this four-bedroom townhouse sits in a league of its own. Explore the lush greenery of Holland Park, or use its eponymous station to reach central London in a mere ten minutes.

Cross the threshold and enter the cosy reception room, where armchairs and a sofa surround a fireplace and a small TV. At the far side of the room, a large armchair basks in the sun shining in from the skylight, and a small table for two sits nearby.

Descend to the ground floor and enter the primary living area, where the glass ceiling provides a trove of natural light. Relax on one of the two sofas or armchairs and watch your favourite flick on the flatscreen TV, surrounded by framed photos and art atop shelves on either side of the room. Access the private garden from here, where you can enjoy a dinner al fresco in the evening sun on the outdoor table.

Further down you’ll come across the formal dining area, painted a vibrant pink-crimson and featuring an expansive table with room for eight. Conveniently, the kitchen adjoins this space: tastefully designed with accents of white and grey-green, there’s a breakfast bar, gas hob and ample counter space in this spacious kitchen.

Ascend the stairs from the entryway and arrive at the principal bedroom. This spacious bright bedroom offers a comfortable king-sized bed, bedside cabinets, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a TV. The tasteful en-suite bathroom is bright and modern, complete with a bath with overhead shower, toilet and wash basin. On the same floor, a single bedroom looks out to the garden, while two more bedrooms can be found on the top floor of the home – one of which offers a king-sized bed, and two single beds can be found in the other. The second floor also hosts a full bathroom, featuring a bath with overhead shower, toilet and wash basin.

We Love
The stellar location, right in the middle of one of London’s leafiest, most exclusive neighbourhoods where cafes, parks and boutiques abound.

Home Truths:
No smoking or parties. Please note, access to the property is up a few stairs from the street level. A friendly dog usually lives here. Though the dog will not be present during your stay, and the home is cleaned to an extremely high standard, the property may not be suitable for those with allergies. The homeowner's housekeeper will attend twice a week to water the garden and flower boxes. Although we always endeavour for accuracy, there may be rare occasions where the listing photography and description do not provide an exact representation of the home’s amenities.

Home away from Home

This was a supremely comfortable house in a superb location with stylish decor and a lot more than we expected. We would opt for this place again if it was available on the next visit we make. Very happy. 🙂

A home away from home. We believe it can be something really special. We know that finding the perfect base from which to go out and explore - or stay in and recharge - can make a great vacation unforgettable. At Veeve, we've been committed to hand-selecting the very best homes in London and Paris since 2011. Our mission? To provide our guests with the ideal space to suit their needs; be it a family home in Kensington, a chic penthouse in Shoreditch, or a quirky loft in the Marais...
Our homes may vary in size, style and location, but the experience we offer - seamless and curated - always stays the same. Whichever home you choose, our team of experts are bursting with insider knowledge on the local area. We love to make recommendations, so why not give us a call?

Why they chose this property

Londoners can’t help but associate this west London neighbourhood with one of the highlights of the summer: Notting Hill Carnival. The rest of the year is, of course, somewhat quieter; Notting Hill being at its heart, a leafy, residential neighbourhood home to the chic, well-heeled and rather famous. But even so, something of the electric, bohemian spirit of that August bank holiday remains in the air all year long.
