About this property
The Kensington Townhouse, by Veeve
Set on a peaceful, white-stuccoed residential street between Kensington High Street and Notting Hill Gate, this elegant five-bedroom, three-bathroom townhouse offers an exceptional stay in one of London’s most prestigious neighbourhoods. Spanning over 320 square meters, the home is filled with natural light, period charm, and contemporary comforts- just a short walk from both tube stations and an abundance of world-class shops, restaurants, and parks.
RAISED GROUND FLOOR
Here lies the heart of the home with the drawing room off the hallway, complete with high ceilings, fireplaces, plush sofas, curated artwork, and a stunning chandelier. The drawing room also opens to the formal dining area and a balcony that overlooks the garden. Please note that whilst board and cards games are welcome to be played at the table, it is a very delicate antique and meals are preferred to be taken in the kitchen downstairs.
To the right of the hallway is a guest WC.
LOWER GROUND FLOOR
Here you'll find a generously sized, fully equipped kitchen featuring two ovens, two grills, gas hobs, and ample workspace. A breakfast table overlooks the pretty patio garden, perfect for warm summer evenings, while the adjoining open-plan living area includes an informal sitting room and TV. This level also includes a utility room with washer and dryer, a guest WC, and access to the private patio garden. (Please note: the cellar is private.)
FIRST FLOOR
Ascend the sweeping staircase to the first floor, home to two luxurious bedrooms:
A spacious king-sized bedroom overlooking the quiet street, with wardrobe, desk, and en-suite shower room with WC.
The master suite, offering a super king-sized bed, walk-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a beautifully appointed en-suite bathroom with double sinks, bathtub, and walk-in shower.
TOP FLOOR
On the top floor are three further bedrooms:
A bright king-sized bedroom with wardrobe and chest of drawers.
A charming twin room with trundle bed, ideal for children, complete with wardrobe space. This bed can also be made into a double if needed.
Another king-sized bedroom with chest of drawers and wardrobe, plus an en-suite bathroom with shower and WC.
This floor also includes a family bathroom with double sinks and a shower over bath. (Please note: the study on this floor will be locked.)
WE LOVE
The grandeur of this classic Kensington townhouse - its soaring ceilings, elegant fireplaces, and generous living spaces - paired with modern functionality. From the tranquil garden and balconies to the expansive layout perfect for groups or families, this is a refined retreat just moments from Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, and Notting Hill’s vibrant streets.
Home Truths:
No smoking, pets or parties. Children & toddlers are welcome but under close supervision. Please note that the house is not equipped for child safety. A wooden high chair in the TV room can be used for babies up to 3 years. To rent this property, the minimum age requirement is 25 years old. Although we always endeavour for accuracy, there may be rare occasions where the listing photography and description do not provide an exact representation of the home’s amenities.

Why they chose this property
Kensington is a genteel district in one of the grandest boroughs in London, The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It’s home to many of the city’s most significant museums, including the Natural History Museum, the Victoria & Albert Museum, and the recently reopened Design Museum. Not only does the neighbourhood have many elegant shops, churches and parks for visitors to enjoy, Kensington High Street is a hub for music and journalism too.
