Great location with available parking - a must in Portree. Lovely 2 bedroom cottage. Large laundry facilities and full size fridge. Appliances were great. Bathroom with shower was quite large. We do like to cook in and did find a lack of good knives. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
We were blessed to stay here. Walking distance to all of downtown and a great launching point for touring Isle of Skye. This was our "laundry day" and amenities were perfect. We would stay here again! Thank you!
My wife and I stayed in the cottage for three nights on the Isle of Skye . We had a wonderful time there. The hiking is beautiful. The location is excellent for getting to restaurants and the grocery store. Definitely recommend making dinner reservations ahead of time. We really loved the three chimneys restaurant kitchen table tasting menu. The house is cozy, warm and very convenient.
The location was nice, a short walk to town. The washer and dryer were very helpful! There were some things we couldnt figure out (like the tv) and didnt seem to get a response about how to get it to work, which was a bummer but not a huge deal. Quiet, clean and comfortable
We had a very quiet and nice stay in Portree with our family: the place is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is especially nice and the overall set up was great. Just need to fix a temperature knob in the shower!

The place smelled a little musty, and it triggered allergies for us. Some of the dishes also looked a little questionable, or maybe were just very old and should be replaced. Other than that it was tidy and the bed linens were very clean. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The location was unbeatable, a 10-min walk into town and to all the restaurants, and was situated on a quiet, beautiful street. The house is "self-served," so we were required to buy our own toilet paper & paper towels after the initial supply ran out. Was still a fabulous stay and would recommend for a budget-friendly option in Portree.
The location was perfect. Short walk into Portree, easy in and out for driving around Skye. The host left a booklet with tons of information on Skye.
