The host is responsive and friendly. Very clean and had everything we needed. Close to shopping, restaurants, and events. Unique layout and right on the Missouri River. Peaceful respite from the AZ heat.
There was plenty of room. There are a lot of stairs, but worked out ok for this grandma. Beautiful place on the river. They had supplies for all we needed.
The lodging was centrally located for our business needs, large enough to spread out, and comfortable fit our group of four.

Awesome property and owners!
I had my crew stay at this property while they were working on a school in the area. They absolutely loved the house, and didn't want to leave! Owners were great about communicating, an over all wonderful experience.

This is a fabulous place to spend the day on the water.
We were very pleased to gather at this beautiful, secluded spot on the Missouri River. It suited our needs perfectly and allowed us to spend the day outside with family. The house is huge and had it not been a great day to be outside, it would have accommodated everyone inside as well. The stairs to the upper level are a little much for an elderly person but that would be my only criticism. Really good stay!

House has a strange layout, but nice view of the river
The owners will make you feel like you’re second guessing every step you make in the home. The moment we arrived we were met by someone to do a detailed walkthrough...similar to like renting a car. I thought they were just being thorough, but I should’ve realized that wasn’t the case. We rented the home to visit family who lives in town and attend a rodeo in a nearby town, so we didn’t actually occupy the house very much outside of heading home after dinner to get all kids bathed and to bed. I work for Expedia (who owns HomeAway) and have rented various times with no problems. These owners claimed we smudged the ping pong table by spilling something on it then wiping it up. Nothing of this nature happened, and it more looked like something cleaners could’ve done. If you choose to rent this home I’d highly recommend taking pictures of all areas during check-in and check-out (i.e. similar to like renting a car). I don’t mind paying for damages that were actually made, but as a responsible and respectful renter having your actions questioned is an unfortunate experience. It has also ruined our memory of our family vacation to Great Falls :(

Hello Cindy,
I'm so sorry you felt our walk-through wasn't thorough enough for your group. We will certainly make note and do a better job with our guests moving forward. Unfortunately with the ping-pong table, or with any items that are damaged during a guest's stay, however it may have happened, they are addressed to the person who made the reservation. I'm sorry you feel wronged, but there is nothing we can do if an item is fine as we go through the walk-through (which we did and pointed out the table and mentioned liquids will damage the table) and upon checkout has undergone discoloration (like the photos we sent to you and the VRBO damages center). In regards to wondering if it may have been a cleaning crew who did it, my daughter and I walked through the house before any cleaning was attempted.
We honestly wish that every time we have renters, everything goes well and the guests have a lovely time and the house and all its contents are in the same condition as they were prior to our guests' stay. It pains us to notice damage and to have to decide what it costs us, not only monetarily, but in deciding if we need to discuss it with the renters, possibly resulting in a poor review which affects our family’s rental.
As a representative of Expedia, I’m sure you are well aware how difficult it is for hosts to have to decide to bring forward their concerns and damages with renters. I hope wherever your family’s trip may next be, you all have a pleasant experience, both in the vacation time and in your rental.
All the best,
Alice and Kris
The space was amazing with a huge kitchen and plenty of space for everyone in our group to spread out. There were also a lot of chairs on the deck area to enjoy the views of the river.
This worked out great for my family gathering. It’s spacious, quiet and clean, and has a very nice view of the Missouri. There were only eight of us, but it really will sleep 12 if a couple of folks don’t mind using the hide-a-bed sofas.
When I say “hideaway,” it means that you’ll first think you’re in the wrong place when driving up to the address. The owners run a business facing the road, and the actual house isn’t visible until you drive around to the back. Once there, there’s a large concrete patio area and a parcel of lawn right against the river: suitable for sitting around and enjoying the placid Missouri River. The grass area is plenty big enough to play yard games like bocce or cornhole. There are tables and plenty of chairs outside. No grill, but the manager graciously offered to loan us one if we really needed it.
Inside, the rooms are big and the furniture is comfortable. There’s a huge snack bar in the kitchen with a bunch of high stools. The only thing missing is a dining room table — useful if the group is playing card or board games.
Being hidden on the river side of the property, the place is quiet and pretty private. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a gathering place near Great Falls.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We would be happy to host your group again. Please think of us the next time you plan a trip to Great Falls.
All the best,
Jack, Alice, and Kris
My dad & in-laws (all in the upper 80’s) stayed at the house with other family members for a long weekend. Kris was awesome, right there to greet us, very friendly & extremely helpful. What a spacious house! Plenty of sleeping options, a recliner for my mother in law. The stairs are nice & wide, and the parents didn’t seem to have too much difficulty navigating them, especially with using a cane for balance (being able to walk short distances us a necessity with this property). The kitchen & a bathroom (plus a huge bedroom w/balcony) are upstairs, so once the parents were upstairs they could stay there for awhile.
It was SO relaxing sitting on the patio or balcony watching river. We had beautiful weather, so we were fortunate. There is a little grass area where we played some yard games, which we really enjoyed (you’d definitely need to keep an eye on small children, as it is right next to the river).
It is a short distance from town, which added to the appeal for us, so you need to drive to get any groceries.
All of us agree we would definitely stay here again!
We needed a large home to rent while our Mom was receiving medical care in Great Falls. This place was perfect! All the amenities, comfortable beds and a great location, right on the Missouri River. Highly recommended, and very friendly, helpful hosts.

Thank you for staying at our VRBO. We are glad our home was comfortable and to your liking.

So thankful for a house large enough to accommodate my family! The boys had so much fun challenging each other in ping pong! I was able to cook thanksgiving dinner for us with no trouble! The kitchen had everything I wanted! Thankyou for making our families thanksgiving memorable!
Overall, we were pleased with our stay at this property. The house met our expectations and the listing/pictures were accurate. We had a family wedding and a mini-reunion, and had 10 people staying in the house. It served our purposes well, as we had a nice place to visit, cook meals, and hang out as a family which we wouldn't have had if we had stayed in a hotel.
The beds were generally comfortable, although the king bed in the master bedroom was a bit soft for some people's likings. The two queen beds downstairs are made of stiff memory foam, which was pretty firm. The lone king bed downstairs was medium-soft as advertised, so there are a variety of bed firmnesses for different sleeping preferences. The only issue a large group might find is that although the house is billed to sleep up to 12, there really is only enough room to seat 6 people at the dining room table. The rest of the family has to eat on couches, which can be a challenge depending on what is served (ie-hard to cut steak on your lap on a paper plate). But that was the only real issue for a large group. The living space in the house is more than adequate for 10-12 people to hang out and live together without feeling overly crowded. The den/play room downstairs was nice for the kids to burn off energy while the adults could still visit upstairs. The view of the river is excellent, and was beautiful and serene. Kristy, the property manager, was helpful and brought us extra supplies when we ran out. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.
The property is very well furnished and conveniently located! Very clean! I highly recommend this property and would book it again if I needed the amount of sleeping space. Kris was very responsive to issues identified.
We had a wonderful time at this property...it was during a family loss that brought us back to Great Falls...it was a sad time but this property made it easier since it allowed us time to spend sharing with family and friends during our stay. Loved the river and the views...the property manager was so sweet...she even loaned us her family sized crock pot. We would love to stay there again on our next trip to Montana.
Over all it was a great venue. The home had a wonderful outside space; perfect for gathering our friends and family. The inside lacked a diningroom table/kitchen table; which would have been nice for playing cards and such. We had to use a hide abed and it really needs a better mattress. We ended up taking the mattress from the unused hide a bed and doubling them up to be comfortable. It could have used some nicer towels too.
We love our stay at the rental home. Kristy was very helpful, responsive, and accommodating.
I'd recommend this spot for larger groups!

What makes this property unique
We are right on (or 'over' if you take our patio into account) the Missouri River. Rarely would you find an on the river rental, let alone a large home.
