Also nearby are Heights of Abraham which has a cable car and Carsington Water Reservoir with lovely walks and children's play area. Limestone Way long distance footpath is also nearby. Groups of cyclists, golfers, walking groups etc are also welcome. Golf equipment can be stored in the utility area and the rear garden can be used to store bikes. Park Cottage is the ideal base for exploring the scenic Peak District. Roadside parking is adjacent to the property and extra parking available in the nearby village car park.
