Cozy little house near the Hundeberg

Cosy log cabin near Hundfjället and the Tandådalen ski resort. Walking distance to the slopes for those who are energetic. (800 m to Hundfjället). But the Skistar ski bus also stops right outside the cabin for those who’d rather not lug heavy ski gear around on holiday. It’s very convenient and, best of all, free. If you’d like to visit other ski resorts, both Stöten and Lindvallen are within a 20-minute drive.

The cabin has a large Bergslag-style wood-burning stove, and firewood is included so you can create that cosy atmosphere. (If you need a refill, just let us know.) Otherwise, the cabin is heated with radiators.

The entryway has tiled floors with underfloor heating. There are plenty of places to hang clothes to dry, but unfortunately no drying cabinet. However, you can hang your clothes spaced out so they dry properly. There’s a basket for gloves and hats above a radiator, and a sturdy boot dryer that fits two pairs of boots.

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you’d typically expect to find in a kitchen. It includes a dishwasher, coffee maker, stove, oven, refrigerator, and freezer. A small selection of basic spices, dishwasher tablets, coffee, dish soap, etc., is provided in the cabin. Otherwise, self-catering applies.

Private parking for two cars is available in front of the cabin. The parking area is ploughed by a snowplow, which leaves some substantial snowdrifts. This is usually very popular with children who want to build snow forts and caves.
