Stunning Coastal Cottage - Sleeping 8 in 3 Bedrooms - Pool and Beach Access Included.

Beautiful, light and airy coastal cottage located just away from half way down "The Parade" with access to a quiet part of The Bay Holiday Village - near the amenities but befitting from a quiet patio, location and brick BBQ means you have everything you need for a family break.

Enter into a spacious hallway, with space for your coats and shoes. Ahead to the left is a large kitchen diner / lounge with all the appliances you'll expect for a self-catering break. The kitchen was refurbished in January 25 with new appliances, worktop, hob and sink as well as a large fridge freezer for all your needs.

There is an excellent dining space in the kitchen, with extended dining table seating 6 with french doors to the patio, and 2 large comfortable sofas (one is a double sofa bed - bedding for this is a chargeable extra). The patio features brick built BBQ and a large circular table / bench seating 8 - ideal for BBQs.

Across the hall there is a WC and access to a large twin / double bedroom (default is two single beds but guests can join these together) with windows to the front and rear.

Free unlimited fast wifi throughout.

Upstairs, you will find a double bedroom and a master with king size bed, walk-through wardrobe area, and a shower room ensuite. There is also a very spacious family bathroom with bath and shower over.

New England Cottage is a large pet friendly house and is ideal for a large family with space for 2 doggies!

Great village and close to the sea

It’s a lovely new development quite classy based on European style houses with lots of variety. Great amenities and so close to the sea. If you get the weather it’s great. Kids really enjoyed it and there’s lots of activities to do too. Really well worth a visit.

Fabulous Anchor Bay

From booking to departure (and beyond) communication was excellent. Beautiful accommodation and location, great for families and pets. We loved every moment of this luxurious stay. Nearby Scarborough and further afield to Whitby, this base was great. Even the weather was kind! The beach is gorgeous and a brisk 10 minute walk to get there, Uphill return may take longer! We will define booking again.

Excellent little break away

The property itself is a lovely place to have a few days away with the family. There was everything we needed and the facility’s were high quality. All the family really enjoyed our stay it’s a beautiful resort it a beautiful setting. The only negative I could give is not to do with the property at all but the on-site restaurant could do with a better menu to cater for a wider range of age groups .. would highly recommend a stay at this particular property 😊

The New England cottage was clean warm and had everything you needed for your stay and it is so nice to be able to take are dogs so they can enjoy been away from home and not left behind it was also nice to take the dogs to the pub so welcoming and the staff very friendly all the staff we met cleaning staff all friendly.so we will be back have been looking for an other holiday all ready.

Fantastic stay

This was our first visit to the Bay Village and we were impressed by how beautifully presented it was, like a film set! When we arrived at the cottage it was spotlessly clean and the rooms smelt lovely. It was very well equipped, all the way from the fluffy towels to the dish cloths. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

7 person stay at a lovely holiday cottage near Filey.

Great cottage, great location for a quiet getaway adjacent to a sandy beach near to Filey. The holiday park was very family orientated with good facilities and for venturing further afield Scarbourough approx 30mins and Whitby approx an hour drive away. The cottage was very modern, clean and with all the amenities for self-catering we required including free WiFi. Special mention to Anthony at Anchor Bay Holidays who provided thorough communication in the run up to the stay. Overall highly recommend and would definitely not hesitate to book again.

Thank you again for providing our family with another wonderful holiday in The Bay. You never fail to deliver with superb properties and excellent communication from start to finish. It was lovely to see the village decorated for Christmas and our three night break in the New England Cottage was the perfect break for blowing away the New Year cobwebs.

3 generations comfortably housed at New England Cottage

Our family had a really lovely stay at New England Cottage. It is so spacious that there was room for the youngsters not to be on top of the oldies all of the time. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfy, and the bedding and towels were soft and lovely. The only thing that would have improved the property was having a larger fridge/freezer. We just about managed with only being there for 4 nights but for the size of property and number of people staying it was a bit tight.

The house was clean and well presented. The unfortunate thing for us is that it wasn’t as accessible as I first read. The downstairs bathroom was just a toilet and as my husband cannot climb stairs this was an issue as zi had to strip wash him every day in the toilet. The outside beams need replacing as they have rotted and are uneven. My husband fell off his Mobility scooter during our holiday and broke his arm. He then spent a week in Scarborough Hospital.Sorry but the description of the outside of the house needs to be amended to say this. For a full able bodied family the house is good. Just bear in mind if you are bringing someone with walking difficulties.

pleasant weekend lovely family stay

Overall I was happy with my stay, however floor boards dusty, lots of flys in house and grass hadn’t been cut was way too long to enjoy sitting outside! Lucky we had no kids as was weeds etc, but this did let down the outside area big time! Lastly bedroom tvs didn’t work which was a shame! But overall lovely place to stay, decor was nice and beach theme, Wi-Fi worked, plenty of toilets! Great for a family stay.

Our short break in filey

We stayed in Filey bay for 3 nights from 5 th of June. We stayed in the New England cottage the cottage was lovely very clean and comfortable. My elderly mum was with us and the downstairs bedroom was ideal for her .All rooms beautifully furnished spacious and with all amenities for a comfortable stay. The outside area and bbq are a bonus. Location was great between Filey and Bridlington and flamborough and the little villages in between, the village was very peaceful & quiet with easy assess to the beach although a little steep for my mum who was in a wheelchair the meadow and lakes was a lovely walk. The pub on site lovely pub with friendly staff but people said it is closed sometimes due to staffing , the cafe area is now closed but open as a pizzeria although not open whilst we where there was originally a coffee shop , would be lovely if this opened up again. The pool & sauna area was also nice with a good sized pool. Overall a lovely place to stay whilst in Filey and I would definitely recommend the New England cottage as a place to stay.

New Year Break

Property very clean and comfortable. As described. Plenty of space. 2 bathrooms makes it much easier with a bigger group. Communication very good. Excellent site overall - particularly good access to the beach and short walk into Filey. The only downside was the small amusement arcade which was very badly managed. Many machines nit working but still taking money. No staff on hand to resolve problems.

Family week away

This was our first time at The Bay and it didn’t disappoint. It helped that the weather was fantastic, but the cottage and the site are wonderful. New England Cottage is really well equipped, bedrooms are very light and airy, plenty of cupboard space. Having a ground floor bedroom and toilet was really useful for family members who struggle with stairs. It’s a shame that the log burner had been removed although the cottage is very well insulated and warm. The stone base for the burner is still in place and you need to take care not to stub your toe on it. There is a small patio outside with table and seating - the position of the house means that the sun doesn’t reach the patio which is a shame but given the heat this week, it was actually a relief. The seats are just slightly too large for the space meaning that one of the patio doors can’t be opened fully. The distance to the pub, shop and swimming pool is a short walk but be aware that the walk to the beach is considerably further, especially if you have any mobility issues. Having access to the pool was a real bonus. The site is very dog friendly which is lovely but occasionally the noise from yapping neighbours can be a nuisance, especially if you’re not a dog owner. The Bay is a great location with easy access to Filey, Brid, Scarborough and local Wolds villages. Anchor Bay Holidays were very efficient with all the information sent through and were really quick at responding to issues. Would we go again? Definitely!
