The real draw here is the stunning North Norfolk coastline.

Nature lovers will enjoy visits to RSPB Cley Marshes, Sheringham Park and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and you can be in the heart of the Norfolk Broads in around half an hour too. History lovers will find much to do with the Blickling, Holkham, Houghton and Sandringham Estates along with the medieval city of Norwich with its numerous museums and Norman Castle all within reach. They should also make time for the Thursford Collection with its Christmas Spectacular and Santa’s Magical Journey events and the Muckleburgh Collection too.

Add in Amazonia Zoo, Bewildewood and great walks and cycle routes virtually from the doorstep and you will soon see why this part of Norfolk is so popular, and having worked up an appetite with all that sightseeing you will be pleased to discover that these are is enjoying something of a burgeoning foodie scene with lots of great places to eat, many of which serve seasonal local produce. Then you can return to the Cart Shed for a glass of something chilled, a lovely night of sleep and perhaps to dream of adventures yet to come; just perfect! Beach 2 miles.

8/10 Good

Andrew Johnston

It is a beautiful property and we loved our time there.

It is a beautiful property and we loved our time there. Although we paid a discounted rate for our stay, a couple of things did bug me. The kettle was old and so full of limescale and must be replaced. Limescale was visible from the filling bar thing and it didnt match the quality of the property. It was so bad we did not use it. There was also a fair amount of dust, filthy baking trays and dirty skirting boards. If these were improved there would be no complaints. The welcome hamper was brilliant!
