Lovely apartment close to Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi.

We had a 3 night stay here and found it to be a lovely apartment in a great location. Very close to the main church in Assisi.

Solo in Assisi

I am married and the father of 3 teen/20 age kids. Practice Catholic family that has traveled in Europe together a few times. I am the one that likes to stay and see all the Catholic Churches and really understand the history. The others do to a degree, but it is a running joke for me. So with this opportunity to be in Assisi alone for a week, I was very excited and had high expectations.. We had spent 1/2 day here about 6 years ago. The room was 1/4 mile to Basicilica of St. Francis and I also had rented an elected bile (great call!). The entire week, meeting people especially locals and encountinger so much about the Franciscan order. The room itself was outstanding and ideal. Great size, great location and great proce. The owner was super responsive and easy to work with.
