Apartment outside Ortigia island with private terrace on the top floor, accessible from the building’s staircase, with wonderful view over Ortigia and the little harbour of Siracusa.

This apartment, located on the first floor of a building, enjoys a double exposition.
The entrance opens to the living area furnished with a dining area, a TV and a kitchen equipped with an oven, a microwave and a coffee machine. Walking further there is the sleeping area coming with two bedrooms with queen beds, one of which also provided with a study. A full bathroom with a tub and a laundry area complete the apartment.
Guests will absolutely enjoy a large private terrace, accessible from the building’s staircase, that offers a wonderful view over the Ortigia island and the little harbour of Siracusa.

For relax and sea lovers, Eastern Sicily and the surroundings of Siracusa are the perfect choice. Leaving the ancient Greek city and going toward the south, the best equipped beaches worth a visit are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche, whose name is due to the natural sweet spring water and to the unique white sand. Then, on the island of Ortigia there are some equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno), as well as the free beach of Cala Rossa. Going further south, about 30 kms far away from Siracusa, there are amazing and wild beaches: Calamosche, Vendicari with its Wildlife Park and the precious San Lorenzo. For those looking for cultural and historical sites, it is recommended to visit Teatro Greco and its archeological site with the famous Orecchio di Dionisio (a limestone cave shaped as a human ear), the Museum Paolo Orsi, then the Latomie dei Cappuccini, and finally the island of Ortigia with its natural and historic eye-catching landscapes. Finally, our guests should visit the town of Noto, the seafront of Tonnara di Avola and the fisherman village of Marzamemi. Sicily is beautiful, a wild land with a millennial history impossible to forget at first glance, that will take a special space in your heart.

The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about 65 kms far away, while Comiso “Pio La Torre” airport is 110 kms far. The train station of Siracusa is 20 minutes walking distance from the apartment, as well as the interbus station connected with the airports.
