Villa Las Monjas - Astonishing Panoramic Sea View

Villa Las Monjas is located on the outskirts of Mijas Village in one of the most impressive locations with stunning panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the mountains of Africa in the distance. Las Monjas has a south-facing orientation, so you can enjoy the sun throughout the day.

It is a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing holiday, being an oasis of tranquillity, surrounded by gardens and a green belt of exotic trees. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the centre of Mijas Village with all its amenities. Please note that there is a steep path to access the house, so if you have any difficulty walking, please consult us first.



This extraordinary villa has just undergone a complete state-of-the-art renovation, following the excellent standard in classic modern Scandinavian style.

The house has ample space in 4 luxurious double bedrooms, and a mezzanine with a double sofa bed and plenty of outdoor space to accommodate the whole family.



From the entrance you enter a large, bright living room beautifully decorated with large sliding doors that provide direct access to the impressive outdoor terrace with stunning views.

For a summer outdoor lifestyle, you will love the fabulous pool area with its sun loungers by the poolside.

Outside, you will also find a barbecue area, with a large table, ideal for entertaining and dining under the stars, whilst the terrace and lounge seating provide a cosy atmosphere. At night, thousands of twinkling lights from Fuengirola illuminate the skies of Las Monjas.



Near the main house, there is a small cottage with air conditioning; this is where the fourth bedroom with its bathroom is located.



La Casita is an ideal place for teenagers or a couple who want to be a little away from the main property.

The pool area and garden are below the terrace and have ample sun loungers and garden furniture.

It is truly a peaceful holiday property and we urge you to respect that you have been given the keys to a house of the highest quality. A fantastic and luxurious "setting" around your well-deserved holiday.

It is recommended to have a car for shopping and exploring everything that Andalusia has to offer. The property includes parking space for at least five cars.



In the interior you can find the 'Real España' with impressive views of the mountains and many 'Ventas', the typical Spanish restaurant. One of our favourites, Venta Los Morenos, where you can try Spanish food.



Going down the hill, just 10 minutes away are the sandy beaches of Fuengirola ... with its small and charming marina and its 8 km seafront promenade lined with palm trees, it is a delightful place to enjoy a pleasant walk or a coffee with views of the yachts. Fuengirola has everything you need.

Furthermore, the famous tennis club and restaurant 'Lew Hoads' is also just a 5-minute drive away.



Whether you are looking for a beach and action holiday for the children or a peaceful getaway, the Costa del Sol has everything to offer for a perfect holiday.



ADDITIONAL ADVICE

We cannot forget to mention the fantastic restaurants that are located very close by where you will be able to enjoy whilst staying in this property. We have Trocadero Benalmádena, a Marbella restaurant concept brought to Benalmádena, located in a privileged position next to the sea with impressive sea views and sunsets. You can also enjoy in Carvajal the ever-nominated best traditional Spanish fish restaurant "Los Marinos Paco". And we cannot forget the Sollo restaurant, 1 Michelin star, in the Curion by Hilton hotel.

If you plan to arrive outside standard check-in hours, please let us know in advance. We offer a late check-in with meet & greet so that your arrival is as comfortable and straightforward as possible.

Maintenance and Cleaning: The accommodation must be returned in reasonable conditions of order and cleanliness. We reserve the right to apply additional charges, which will be deducted directly from the deposit, in the following cases:



Excessive general dirt on the property.



A considerable amount of unwashed dirty dishes.



Accumulation of rubbish within the accommodation. It is the guest's responsibility to dispose of rubbish in the street containers indicated in the guide before departure.



Irreversible damage to towels and bedding (makeup, creams, chemical products).

As these are activities outside our control, we have no authority over their schedules or intensity, and their existence will not entitle you to refunds or compensation.

las Monjas review

the villa is well equiped, in a superb location with great pool and spectacular views. Mijas Pueblo is easy to reach and a great little town but watch out for lots of barking dogs running free in gardens which can be scary when walking to the town (dogs also noisy at night). Mojo are really friendly, efficient and helpful although a bit surprised all the outdoor cushions were piled up in the lounge on arrival- it took us 20 minutes to set them all up. Also Wifi is very slow and does not cover pool area - we had find the router and set it up ourselves to get it work. We had a problem with the hot water as the gas bottles needed changing but this was fixed by the very nice handy man on the same day.

Regarding the cushions, as we indicated to you on your arrival, due to the windy weather, our protocol is to always leave the cushions inside as we have previously found the terrace full of cushions and even inside the pool. So to avoid any further discomfort, as the weather is out of our control, we think this is the best option. We hope you had a pleasant stay, and we look forward to seeing you back soon.
