Littlebeck House is located in the quiet village of Briggswath, just three miles from the centre of Whitby. With a modern and fresh feel throughout and the added luxury of a private hot tub, Littlebeck House will provide a pleasant and relaxing stay in peaceful North Yorkshire surroundings. Sleeping up to seven guests across four bedrooms, this dog friendly property is the perfect location to retreat to for breaks with family and friends.
The Space:
Guests will be amazed by Littlebeck House from the moment they step through the door of this modern property.
The open-plan living, kitchen and dining area boasts a long sofa in front of a large flat-screen TV, a comfy chair, as well as a choice of two dining tables. The kitchen itself is equipped with modern appliances to ensure that all guests are able to feel at home during their self-catering stay at Littlebeck House. There is also a downstairs WC which can be accessed from this space.
From the kitchen is where Littlebeck House’s outdoor area can be accessed. With a paved terrace leading up to a private hot tub.
On the first floor, you’ll find three of Littlebeck House’ four bedrooms. Two of these rooms have king size beds, whilst the other boasts a relaxing single bed. Wherever you choose to sleep, you’ll be guaranteed a great night’s sleep thanks to the plush bedding and premium bed linens used to make the beds up.
The family bathroom can also be found on the first floor. Boasting a bathtub, separate shower, WC and wash basin, this is a clean, shiny and modern space.
Head upstairs to the second floor and you’ll find the property’s fourth bedroom. This tranquil king-size room also has a private en-suite shower room with a WC and basin.
To the front of the property you will find a purpose built sunroom which features a 7 persons Hot Tub; perfect for a spot of relaxation after exploring the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There is on-site parking available at Littlebeck House.
Please note, due to the location of the property, the grassed area of the garden can be extremely wet in areas.
For guests using the Hot Tub, please ensure you have read the Hot Tub Rules of use located in the Sun Room and in the property guide.
The Neighborhood:
Littlebeck House is located in the quaint village of Briggswath on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Lying in the Esk Valley, the village is just three miles from the centre of Whitby so you can reach the bustling seaside town easily. You can also enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the river by hiring a rowing boat or canoe just a short walk away from the property in the village of Ruswarp. If you’d prefer a delicious pub lunch, head to the village of Sleights and visit the Plough Inn which is a short 5-minute drive from the property.
You’ll find narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants in Whitby. There is also a beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts and seaside arcades. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.
Getting Around:
Littlebeck House is within a short driving distance of all that Whitby and the surrounding area has to offer.
Ruswarp train station is a 13-minute walk from the property where the Esk Valley line travels between Middlesbrough and Whitby with stops in Danby, Lealholm, Glaisdale and Grosmont along the way.
You can visit other areas surrounding Briggswath easily via bus. Hop on the Arriva 95 bus route which has stops in Lealholm and Whitby.
