About this property

Airy Hill Old Farmhouse, Whitby

Summary:

This wonderful, semi-detached, former red-brick farmhouse set just a 1-mile walk from the town centre of Whitby can sleep eight people in four bedrooms.

The Space:

Airy Hill Old Farmhouse is a wonderful, semi-detached, former red-brick farmhouse situated a short walk from the centre of the ever popular coastal town of Whitby. The cottage can sleep eight people in three double rooms, two with en-suite facilities, a twin room, and a family bathroom. There is a spacious kitchen with a dining area and a woodburning stove, and a sitting room with a further woodburning stove and patio doors leading outside. Outside, there is an enclosed, lawned garden with furniture and off-road parking for two cars. Airy Hill Old Farmhouse is a great base for friends and families exploring the North Yorkshire coastline, all year round. Minimum 3 night stay. Two well-behaved dogs welcome.

The Neighborhood:

Whitby in North Yorkshire remains one of the regions most popular tourist hotspots, and with good reason. The town is at the mouth of the River Esk, and this old fishing port retains mush character in its winding streets and hidden alleys. There is a picturesque harbour, sandy beach and the famous Whitby Abbey. Close to other seaside destinations such as Scarborough, Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby is also ideally placed for heading inland and exploring the beautiful countryside of the North York Moors National Park.

Family Holiday In Whitby

We had a really enjoyable stay in the Airy Hill Old Farmhouse. There were eight of us and we found the house very comfortable and well thought out. Plenty of showers and lots of hot water when ever we needed it.Reasonable walk into Whitby which is important as the parking can get very busy. Thanks very much.
