About this property

The Gardener's Cottage (E), Earsham, Norfolk

The Gardener's Cottage offers chic, contemporary and absolutely gorgeous accommodation for four on the Earsham Hall country estate on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. With its stunning, open-plan living space, plush bedrooms and deluxe bathrooms, this splendid retreat, only half an hour from Suffolk's Heritage Coast in the heart of the East Anglian countryside, is a gem.

All on one level, The Gardener's Cottage has been super-stylishly restored and offers high-end, luxury accommodation all year round. A well-equipped kitchen with all the mod-cons opens out into a light and airy dining room and sitting room, with glass doors to the enclosed, sunny courtyard garden. King-size beds in the bedrooms (one a zip-and-link, which can be separated to twin single beds on request); both with contemporary en-suites (the master has a bath, and bedroom two a large walk-in shower), vibrant furnishings and top quality bedding add to the opulent yet comfortable feel of the accommodation.

The Gardener's Cottage is in the ideal location to explore all that Norfolk and Suffolk have to offer. On the edge of the wonderful Waveney Valley, you are only a few minutes' drive away from paddle boarding and canoeing on the River Waveney and from the traditional unspoilt market town of Bungay, with its independent shops and delicious delis and cafes. Beccles, another lovely market town and gateway to the Norfolk Broads, is a short hop in the car and it's less than twenty miles to Southwold and Suffolk's other stunning sandy beaches and coastal towns and villages. Norfolk's main city, Norwich, full of medieval charm, is only fifteen miles away, and the outstanding North Norfolk coast can be reached in just over an hour.

Additional Information:
Sorry, no pets.
Babies in arms and children from the age of 5 allowed.
Bedding is synthetic.
Bedroom two has a king-size zip and link bed, which can be made into twin 2'6" singles on request.
Please bring your own Nespresso Vertuo coffee pods.
Please note: The Gardener's Cottage is located in amongst a number of businesses using other converted buildings on the Estate. Whilst you will be in your own peaceful and private space, it can be busy with the general public visiting these surrounding businesses, and sometimes the workshops, which are open Monday to Friday, will make background noise going about their business.

Everything was beautiful, the best holiday cottage we have stayed in
There were so many lovely features to this property, it was luxurious whilst still being comfortable and practical. The immediate setting in the grounds of Earsham Hall was very beautiful and made a wonderful first impression as one swept up the drive. it was very interesting to have the on-site garden centre, antiques and cafe and these all added to the enjoyment of our stay. We loved the lighting in the property, dimmer switches and lamps all creating a nice ambiance, the courtyard was also lit beautifully to dramatic effect. The bathrooms were beautifully finished and very practical. The kitchen was a joy to use, all the equipment, dishes, and crockery was of a high standard and plentiful. We also enjoyed the peacocks who visited us from time to time.
