Quinta da Rosa

Fabulous villa that has been thoughtfully and tastefully built to accommodate every need for a great stay. All bedrooms are en-suite, the pool is superb and the outside kitchen a real bonus. Everything has been thought through including nice touches like leaving fruit, bread, water etc.The managing agent was excellent and responded to basic questions really quickly. He was really easy to deal with.

Perfect place to recharge

This was our 5th summer season around Carvoeiro area and definitely the best so far. We loved everything about the villa. Luxurious and comfortable, remote and quiet, spacious, each room with its own bathroom, dining areas inside the house and outdoor just perfect for family meals. Highly recommend.

Summer with friends

We chose the Quinta Da Rosa for its location and size. The villa is beautiful and was a great location for our first meet up with friends who we have not been able to see for a few years. We loved the outside eating area and used it a lot as well as the pool. Erwan was very welcoming and the local property manager was very approachable and and problems were seen to immediately.

Overall, we were very happy with the house, which had a well-equipped kitchen, a fantastic outdoor area, and a private, spacious plot. The flat lawn was perfect for play, and the large pool area never felt crowded, always offering a sense of seclusion. The house itself is spacious and well-suited for 10 people, as long as everyone is comfortable sharing double beds. It was nicely furnished—nothing to complain about. Any small issues that came up were quickly handled by Erwan, and Bruno, the handyman, was incredibly warm and kind. Household waste can be disposed of just a 2-minute walk away, just outside the gates.A few things worth knowing:•The included cleaning is mainly limited to emptying bathroom bins and wiping sinks—anything beyond that needs to be requested specifically. However, a mop and vacuum cleaner are available if you prefer to tidy up yourself.•A rental car is essential, as it’s quite a distance to grocery stores and restaurants.•If you’re particular about pillows, it’s a good idea to bring your own—the ones provided were unfortunately a bit lumpy and synthetic.Thank you for a lovely stay!

Could not have been better

My family and I have just had a wonderful stay at Quinta da Rosa. It is a beautifully appointed villa and kept to a very high standard. It exactly matched its description online. We were met with a lovely welcome package of essentials to make us comfortable, and the property was cleaned daily whilst we were there. The pool is beautiful and immaculately kept, as are the grounds. If we had any questions, they were answered immediately. Erwan was so helpful - thank you so much. We cannot rate this villa highly enough. We had a fabulous week and will certainly be back.

Amazing villa in a great location

Our stay at Quinta da Rosa was incredible. The villa was exactly what we needed and provided a great setting for a family holiday. Communication with Erwan the owner was always prompt and helpful, answering any questions we had both before and during our stay. The villa was really well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. The daily cleaner was also very much welcome! The swimming pool at the villa was absolutely prefect for our family, with a connected shallow pool which was perfect for our 1yr old to splash in. The villa is a 10minute walk from rocha brava which was really convenient for its supermarket and cafe, as well as being a 20mjnute walk down to Praia vale de centiannes, which the children really enjoyed. Overall, we’d definitely recommend Quinta da Rosa to other groups looking for a well stocked contemporary villa near carvoeiro.

Absolutely amazing villa!

We were two families staying for a week and were blown away from the moment we entered the property. The villa has everything you need for a perfect stay. The outdoor landscaping is beautiful and level of finish throughout the villa very high. The pool area is stunning and perfect for relaxing in the sun while the kids played in the pool. As this was October, we went for the heating option and the pool was nice and warm. The provided beach towels were highly appreciated. The outdoor kitchen and dining area is perfect for nice long breakfasts in the sun and dinners in the evening. We also enjoyed some of the local restaurants, which were within walking distance. Would highly recommend Quinta da Rosa. It is one of the best, if not the best, villas we have stayed in. Our kids have already planned to come back next year, and we cannot disagree with them.

Amazing place in a great location

From the moment we arrived we knew we had got this right! Lovely villa, beautifully kept with all the amenities and bits we needed to have a fab break! Well heated pool, outdoor working bbq and gas hot plate, homely touches throughout the shared spaces, well stocked kitchen, lovely en suite bedrooms and amazing views from all over the property! Erwan the manager and Sandra our housekeeper were very attentive and helpful. It’s down a quiet dirt road but 4mins/euros to the supermarket via Uber for the big shop, and little shops within walking distance. The beach is a 15-20min walk with kids downhill, and very worth it, but you’d be completely forgiven for not leaving this villa at all, it’s that great! Any questions or concerns were addressed promptly by Erwan and he gave us some great recommendations for local meals! Can’t wait to come back! Thanks

Stunning villa in a quiet location

An absolutely stunning villa. The property is very well equipped and has a high level of finish. It’s in its own grounds and is not overlooked and is beautifully quiet, but not far from local amenities. The outdoor kitchen is extremely well equipped along with the BBQ and tepanyaki grill. There are fridges outside and by the pool and a decent set of plastic glasses. The pool is very well finished and is a delight. We had maid service every day and people who maintained the grass. None of them were obtrusive. The views from the roof are stunning. You can see the whole of the surrounding area and this a great way to spend the evening. We have stayed in quite a few villas and this one is in my top 3. We would happily return.

Beautiful villa in a relatively quiet part of the Algarve. I stayed with my extended family including five adults and three children (age 4, 3 and 8months) and with two cars. The bedrooms are clustered together, each with a terrace and chairs and all en-suite (one shower over the bath and four walk-in showers). Comfortable beds. The kitchen is brilliantly equipped, there were two dining tables that could seat us all (one inside and one out). Loads of parking and secured behind a gate, felt very secure with the shutters both at night and when out. The pool was incredible - we paid to have it heated and swam at least once a day. Erwan (the host) was extremely helpful and responded quickly to every question. My only constructive suggestion is to replace some of the towels, but an extremely minor point. Beaches we enjoyed: Salema (visit at low tide and climb up some rocks to see dinosaur footprints), praia de Carvalho (gorgeous bay, requires a climb down steps but we managed with the children), Carvoeiro (busy but you can park near the school for a great playground and then walk down to the beach with bars/restaurants right behind it).Food we enjoyed: takeaway pizza from L’Oasis pizzeria, lunch at Levels Carvoeiro.Longer trips: (one hour drive) 1) praia de Casteljo on the west coast, or 2) Sagres lighthouse and fort, with Martinhal beach as an option. Eat at The Hangout or the Laundry with Alice Gelato after.Overall I’d thoroughly recommend.

Great Villa - well located

This is a great property, spacious, well equipped, in a quiet setting. Erwan was our host and was very responsive and deligent. The location is walkable (15 mins) to a beach enclave, accessible via a tunnel, which the kids loved. The pool was very warm and spacious. Bedrooms all good, all en-suite and large. The outside kitchens were good for entertaining, there are two, one with BBQ off the main house, the other down by the pool. In respect of wider location, there are half a dozen restaurants 10-20 minutes walk away, and a shop. The main town is a short drive, with beach and amenities. Good for teenagers and children. We have a baby/ toddler, some steps etc require additional supervision, but that’s normal. Only, in context, a minor gripe, is the UK website doesn’t advertise an additional charge of €250 for heated pool. To be fair to Erwan the Spanish / Portuguese websites do say this. We sorted it, and the Pool was great. 45 mins from Faro Airport. Will visit again.

Avoid - SCAM

The property was not up to the quality we would expect. Many items were broken (door handle, sunbed umbrella, etc) and had other short comings like the stove didn't work (no gas to cook for the first 2 days), no shampoo, limited toilet paper, etc. Hence, for this price the place is NOT managed well. In addition, the quality of the furnishings are rather cheap and flimsy. We treated the property well (e.g. didn't wear shoes in the house, etc), and my family still managed to enjoy Portugal. However, the reason I am leaving such a poor rating is because the manager is trying to charge us for items that were already broken when we arrived - which is crazy! It is clear that they have not been taking inventory of the various groups coming into use the property, and now expect us to pay for items we did not break! (We didn't break anything) This is unacceptable and a scam. I've already made a complaint to VBRO. Hence, I would not rent this property nor would I recommend it. Hence, avoid this property if you have other options.

We would like to respond to your comments. No one is perfect, but it seemed to us throughout your stay that you were confusing a hotel and a rental house. Your requirements exceeded what was contractually stipulated. We leave all our customers a courtesy breakfast, soap in each bathroom and a roll of toilet paper in each toilet. Our house was finished 3 years ago and we have been renting it through Vrbo for 2 years and with the conditions you accepted. Until now, we have not made any deduction from the guarantee required from our customers, since the house was returned to us in good condition. The fact is that you broke 2 wooden deckchairs bought 3 years ago and broke a branch of a parasol bought last June. We have the invoices at your disposal. We regret not having been more severe. In fact, all the rooms had keys, there are only 3 left. When you reported a gas problem, within a quarter of an hour someone came and found...the exterior gate open and the gas taps closed. We had to repair this little door. For some reason, you had completely unscrewed the drain on the kitchen sink. You left the rod and screws, so we were able to piece it together. We bought 2 new deckchairs and had the parasol repaired, as we have other customers arriving. We have passed the cost on to your warranty, which is compliant.

Traumhafte Quinta

Wunderschönes Haus, herrliches Grundstück, mega Pool, tolle Zimmer, alles sehr sauber, nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto zum nächsten Supermarkt. Wir waren zu zehnt hier: 4 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder (6-11 J.) Der Pool war natürlich das Highlight für die Kinder, aber auch für uns Erwachsene ein Traum. Im Juni war die Wassertemperatur ohne Heizung genau richtig.Die Ausstattung des Hauses war für uns perfekt. Extra Getränkekühlschränke in der Outdoorküche und auch an der Poolbar. Großer Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach in der Küche. Genügend Geschirr für drinnen und draußen, verschiedene Kaffeemaschinen, Sandwichmaker, Toaster, Zitronenpresse, usw. - da blieb kein Wunsch offen. Genügend Liegen und Schirme am Pool für alle.Dank der Klimaanlage konnte man an windarmen, heißen Tagen die Zimmer auch gut runterkühlen um abends gut schlafen zu können. In der Waschmaschine konnte man zwischendurch die Poolhandtücher mal waschen. Im Haus wurden die Handtücher durch die Haushälterin einmal ausgetauscht (wir waren 9 Tage hier). Die Kommunikation bei Fragen/Problemen mit der Hausverwaltung war immer freundlich und es wurde zeitnah geantwortet und schnell reagiert. Wir würden das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und falls mal wieder die Algarve auf dem Reiseplan steht, würden wir jederzeit wieder bei Erwan anfragen und die Quinta da Rosa buchen. Schönes Haus in ruhiger Umgebung

Wir haben die Ferien in der Quinta da Rosa sehr genossen. Es hat einen großen gut gepflegt Garten mit einem sehr schönen Pool. Der Pool ist auch sehr gut für kleinere Kinder geeignet, da er an einer Seite deutlich flacher ist. Die Lage ist sehr schön und es ist auch in der Hauptferienzeit sehr ruhig!

Maison splendide

Je recommande vivement cette maison, nous avons passé un super séjour à 10 personnes avec des enfants. Proximité idéal, maison très propre, piscine sécurisée avec volet, literie de qualité. Le propriétaire est très à l’écoute et d’une gentillesse extrême. Encore merci ERWAN

Très chouette séjour

Très belle propriété, y compris pour les mobilités réduites. Le contact avec le propriétaire est tres facile. Proximité avec tout. Manque juste d'une table de ping pong. Sinon très chouette séjour et super vacances
